I found a flashlight, yet again. I felt de ja vu, but the different thing was, Julian's lifeless purple and slightly inflamed corpse lied down a few yards away, and I noticed that his nails were unusually long. I screamed silently, and felt tears shedding.
Before I could get up, I heard it. The familiar sound of growling.
I found myself running, running as fast as I could and ever would.
I heard the thump of its steps.
I think this was my lucky day.
The batteries of the light went dead.
"Fuck" I said, as I trip on a pebble.
.
.
.
I taste blood. Excrutiating spikes held my heels, and dragged me.
And feeling hopeless, I begged for the creature to just kill me.
The last thing I saw was the horrible creature.

It was Julian.
