The next step- 2 years later

Like old times?

After yet another meeting Riley packed her bag ready to go, she knew this would be one of her last times getting to meet with A- troupe because she was moving to new york, so she wanted to dance, she had asked Giselle whether or not it would be Ok to stay there for a few, Giselle agreed and then Riley started dancing to tied to you
'The day it all broke, I remember it all, this song was on, it was when we started to fall apart, James and Beth kissed, and I was left in pieces' Riley thought to herself 'That was when everything started to break, it was only at internationals when it all went downhill..' and then the door opened as Riley thought who it was as she danced
Never so, it was James

Riley finishes her dance as James greets her politely, she wishes this wouldn't happen, Riley looks at James
"Hey" Riley says and smiles
"Hello" James says
"Hey James, would you like to come over?" Riley asks nicely hoping he would so the two could catch up with each other
"Nah" James says and he then walks out, leaving Riley shocked and upset

"Was, was he even my friend?" Riley had questioned herself through that thought "If we did, he would have said yes would he?"
"Well, I am moving to new york sometime in the new year, and if he doesn't talk to me then he's losing me.."

Chloe trembled around a park nervously, thinking about everything that's happened to her, she came back to the next step and is now afraid about having a crush on the enemy
"Hey" Daniel approaches her
"Hey" Daniel responds, wanna come to my house?"
"Sure" Chloe replies as Michelle and Riley walk past the two giggling

Abi walks down the hallways of he next step, feeling like she has to do this, she wants to move to the new elite facility becuase it's more close to where she lives, she walks into Miss Kate's office nervously..
"Hey, Miss Kate?" Abi asked feeling scared
"Yes?" Kate says
"I would like to formally say that I am leaving the next step..." Abi tells Kate

Riley hears a knock at the door,  and then a ding dong and she decides to open the door, its James
"May I come in?" James asks with a tear in his left eye..

Author's note: So, we have some questions

1. Why did James reject Riley when Riley offered for him to come to her house?
2. Why is Riley moving to new york?
3. Why were Riley and Michelle giggling and had angry faces on?
4. Why did James eventually come in but was upset when he did?
