Soon after he bid a farewell to his father-in-law, Jongin got into his car and sped off. It was over midnight already and if he did not hurry he would not make it to the underground meeting with a Seoul's gangster Jaehyuk assigned him to go. This meeting, compared to the one with some bigger mafia groups, indeed would not result in a huge profit for Jaehyuk since they didn't supply any precious items like guns, gems and whatnot. Jaehyuk only prioritized the meeting with the gangster for their leader held something which was precious enough to make him wavered. Jongin was curious about that too. So if he missed the meeting tonight, he would be missing the important key to put down Jaehyuk as well. Unfortunately he probably would, especially because at the very moment there was this particular someone who caught him in headlock with a knife dangerously placed over his throat.

Catching a glimpse of the intruder staying in the backseat from his rearview mirror, Jongin smirked. "Hi Mr. Burned Potato. It's been awhile since I saw you. Is it some kind of friendly greeting?"

"Definitely not. I come here to kill you." Jay retorted.

"Using a dull knife? Really?" Jongin mocked. "Oh right! I think now I know who've put the scar on my wife's neck." His jaw was hardened thereafter.

"I did it because I love her!"

"Wow! The husband is right here, dude."

"I don't really care. You've abandoned her anyway. "

Jongin chuckled. "Okay, you got a point there. I indeed abandoned her. But, enlighten me, please. How is it that you love my wife yet you wounded her?"

"I need to kill her. After all I'm the one who loves her the most and I can kill her quickly without any pain. I intended to kill myself too afterwards so I can be with her forever in the afterlife." Though he rarely did so, this time Jongin could not help but rolled his eyes. Thanks to Jay's heart wrecking yet unrealistic confession. "Me and her die together would be better rather than letting her killed mercilessly by others." Jay added.

"Who wanted her killed?" Jongin was quick to ask. "Tell me." His voice grew heavier. He gripped the steering wheel tight and unconsciously pressed the gas pedal even harder making the car accelerated. Knowing that someone was after Hana made had made him totally mad.

"My father." Jay answered hesitantly.

"Who the heck is your father?" Jongin suddenly grabbed the knife from Jay's grip with his bare hand, causing bloods to drip out of his palm in the process. He then quickly threw it down somewhere between his legs before throwing the steering wheel to the right and pulling the car over.

Surprised with what Jongin did, Jay immediately replied, "It's Kang Jaehyuk."

"What do you mean?"

"Kang Jaehyuk is my father. And he wants Hana killed."

"Why?"

"I'm not telling." Jay went out of the car soon after.

"You have to tell me why!" Jongin chased after Jay in the side of highway, and then pulled him back by grabbing the hood of his jacket.

"No! It's pathetic!"

"Nothing more pathetic than you confessed to me about your one-sided love for my wife."

"Shut up!" Jay suddenly punched Jongin in the face, causing blood dripping down his nose.

"Not going to. Unless you answer my question!" Jongin gave Jay a counter blow. "Why Jaehyuk wanted to kill Hana? Answer me!"

Noticing his nose was bleeding as well, Jay growled "Arrgh!" and gave Jongin another blow on the left cheek. But too bad he then quickly received the hard punch on his mouth right after.
