"Zuma!" Chase called to the lab.
The water pup turned his attention from his nap to his friend.
"Hey, Chase!" He called. "What's up?"
He's just like Marshall, Chase thought.
"Well, I need your help on something."
"Fiwe away, dude."
Chase grinned at his speech.
"Well, do you know anything about Rocky's dream that he's been having for awhile? I keep asking him about it, but he won't tell me."
Zuma's eyes went wide.
"I-I....I can't tell you, dude. He asked me not to tell anybody."
Chase was in shock. He told Zuma...but not him?
"Wait...you know?" He asked.
Zuma nodded.
"Yeah. But I can't tell you. Sowwy."
Chase felt his ears flatten against his head.
"Why did he tell you?"
Zuma almost flinched. They all hated it when Chase got mad.
"Because I'm his best fwiend," he replied.
Chase had to agree with that. When he had a problem, he didn't tell Ryder or Zuma or Skye....he only told Marshall.
Because Marshall was his best friend.
Chase sighed.
"I guess I can't disagree with you....but I'm the one who's in love with him."
The lab smiled, just how Marshall had.
"I knew it! That's awesome, dude!"
Chase grinned.
"Thanks. I'm nervous about telling him, though."
"Don't be!" Zuma exclaimed. "It's like water....you gotta let it flow!"
Chase laughed and turned around.
"Thanks, Zuma."
"No pwob, dude."
The police pup walked off, feeling nothing but anger in him.
Zuma and Rocky are both hiding the same thing from me.
He growled and went to go talk to Marshall again.

"They're both hiding something!" Chase cried. "The exact same thing!"
Marshall sighed.
"They are best friends, Chase."
"How's that an excuse?" Chase asked.
Marshall shook his head.
"They're close, that's all. I guess it's just how their friendship works. We do the same thing too, Chase. When we've got a secret, we tell everybody when we feel like we're ready. Don't pressure them, bud. They'll talk when they feel like it.
Chase sighed and hung his head.
"I guess you're right....again."
Chase walked to his puphouse, and his best friend watched him go.
"Ugh!" He suddenly yelled. "This is so frustrating!!"
"You still love him though!" Marshall called.
Chase sighed, but grinned.
"Yeah...I do."
