Jonah's POV

You can do it Jonah. Come on, quit being a loser and just do it.  Will you go out with me  Y/N? You got this.

I've currently been practicing this for about and hour. She's so pretty, why can't I just grow some balls and do it? Well, today I'm gonna do it, for sure. 

I walk out of my room for breakfast and sure enough Y/N is already down there. 

"Oooh pancakes!" I shout.

"Woah Jonah, calm down.", Esther says while laughing.

"Good morning, Mom, Dad, Esther, Svea, and Y/N." I say.

"Well your happy today," Mom points out.

"Yep, today is special"

"Well, good for you. Now sit down and eat."

"Yes Mom"

They don't even know why it's special, but they'll see. Unless she says no...

Later That Day

We were all watching tv together when the doorbell rings.

"I'll get it," I volunteer.

I wonder who it could be. I don't think we invited anyone over.

As I open the door, I see the familiar 6 foot big guy with brown hair, brown eyes,and a guitar on his back.

"Shawn, BRO! What are you doing here man?" I say as we bro hug.

"I was here in Minneapolis for a show and decided to stop by and see my favorite guy, and girl." 

"Aww man that's so swe- , wait girl?" I'm beyond confused.

"Do you and Esther have a thing I was unaware about?" I raised by eyebrows.

"Nah man, you're silly. Y/N and me are dating! I thought she told you." HE laughed as he walked into the living room.

Dating?

"Shawn!" I hear Y/N yell.

Looks like my chances are gone.
