I stood in front of my house. This was probably the last time I would see this place in a long time. I stood there for a while considering all that had happened these past two weeks. It was strange how fast someones life could change. On the other side, it's not like I had a lot to lose by leaving this place. It's not really that I don't have memories of this place, but more that I haven't got the need to stay here. After all, I have a new name, a new school, and most importantly, a new world to live in. So, without looking back, I walked down the street to where I was supposed to go. I had a backpack with the most important stuff, and all of the rest was being taken care of.
Thinking back to this past week, I think that I'll never ever experience this kind of thing again. My entire life I have been living in a cave, and I don't know what to think of that. But nevertheless, I have a new chance at life in front of me, and I'm going to make the most of it.
After thinking this, I turned around and walked away from the house. This was the end of my previous life, and if I were to put it in a metaphor, I was born anew. So, without delay I took out a bracelet out of my pocket. I looked at it. To try and describe this thing as "well-made" would be an incredibly large understatement. It was made of a metal that looked like gold, but less yellow and more shiny. It had a few symbols engraved on it, and a pure white crystal in the wider part of the bracelet. I put it on and spoke the words that I was supposed to say.
"This is my proof of power, and hereby I request your guidance!"
The bracelet began to emit a bright light and a soft female-ish voice resonated in my ears.
"You have the right to go to the Marasa realm. Your wish will be granted."
This was actually the voice of one of the creators of the Gar Realm, or rather, the realm I lived in for the past 15 years. I was told that this was the way to get to the entrance of the dimensional travel array. To be honest, I was kind of sceptical a tfirst about this whole "other world" thing, but the more I learn, the more I feel like I should really try to let go of my whole old world. Altough, I might be able to use some of my knowledge from this world into the other... Oh well, I guess its time to go. I looked around for the last time. This was the town I grew up in. But I can't stay here any longer. So, here I go, into the new world!
