Author's note: Im currently explaining an awful lot, and I can't find a real good way to do so, so bear with me. I'm trying to have the story have a nice flow, but since this is the start I gotta explain a lot, real sorry! Also, I'll make a summary of the stuff I've told after this chapter, probably.

The moment the two people came in, there was an invisible sense of pressure. It was as if the room was getting smaller, and that the people there would be crushed. Rho looked at them with a cold glint in his eyes. The two that came in were a young man and a young woman. The man was tall, with broad shoulders and long red hair, with eyes that seemed to shoot out rays of piercing light. The woman was more then a head shorter than the man and she had long, waving blue hair with green interwoven in it. She had green eyes and a smooth oval face, with a healthy gloss on her cheeks. The girl was in the middle of talking to the man when he lifted his hand, indicating her to stop talking.

"Rho Doka, it has certainly been a while, hasn't it? To think that we meet here again." He looked at Rho with a fierce look, as if he wanted to see through him. Amia saw this look and visibly shook. The pressure this guy radiated was as if a needle was going to pierce your forehead, extremely sharp and dangerous.

Rho walked up the to the man and stood close in front of him. He slowly spoke, pronouncing each word clearly. "You really haven't learned a lot since we last met didn't you, Hide?" Kirin woke up and rolled away the moment these words were spoken. The immense pressure and silent battle of the impressions going on made him subconsciously feel a grave threat.

The man called Hide was silent for a while, and suddenly, he started to laugh. With this, the pressure disappeared and Rho also started to laugh. Kirin, Amia and the blue-haired girl all stood there in utter confusion. With a big grin on his face, Rho lightly punched Hide on his shoulder. "You really came to this school, you crazy bastard! How have you been?"

Hide pretended to be hurt by this punch and exclaimed "You have become so much stronger, aaah!"

Rho shook his head with a grin and spoke in a low voice. "We both know what the limits are, but you are the stronger one like always." He then looked at the blue-haired girl. With a chuckle he said "Aren't you gonna introduce yourself or are you gonna let Hide do it?"

The girl was still in utter confusion but she spoke with a pleasant voice, like a chime in the winter morning. "Uh, I'm Mira Zakurou. Im from a branch of the "Zura" family in the northeast of the continent."

Rho had a glint flying past his eyes when he heard this, but he said with an ever so slightly clear laugh in his voice. "Im Rho Doka, the girl is Amia and the fellow with the purple eyes is Kirin. You might not know, but I am Hide's sworn brother. We've saved each others' life a couple of times. And on top of that, he is one of the few who still talked to me after a certain unfortunate event." When Rho said that last sentence he had a cold look in his eyes, a clear resentment spilling out of his voice. It gave him a very dangerous look, like a ferocious beast under his surface, waiting for a provocation.

Hide pat his shoulder, saying "You don't need to worry about that now, isn't that already solved?" He obviously sent a double message saying that. Rho shook his head and softly said "It's only just begun, and you know I can't back away anymore. Besides, it's not the time to talk about that now."

Hide looked at Rho. Rho saw this look and a small smile appeared on his face. "Don't worry, I remember the promise I made. I got a way to help you. Apart from that, I got a few more people to give some help to."

Kirin interrupted the conversation here. "Yeah, you have to help me with my problems, right?" Right after this, Amia heavily nodded, with a vigor not fitting to the image she had just half an hour ago. The idea of being cured had firmly taken root in her head. This gave her a completely different look on life in just a short time. Think about it, when someone is destined to not live a long time, and someone offers them a cure, it will bring back the frantic desire to live. This caused Amia to suddenly see the bright side of life again. This was also why, after Kirin,  she said "I think that after he performs a miracle, he will be considered a god amongst humans. But of course, he still will listen to the one by his side!"
