When I reached Life Science I saw a lady standing outside handing out lollipops that had labels on them that said "Science is cool!" When I reached the door I got my Lollipop and I asked her her name. She said that her name was Ms.Vincent and she said it in a southern accent.I walked into the classroom and sat in the front row. And I took out all my supplies especially my notes notebook. She talked about classroom rules, about herself, told jokes, and talked about what we would do for the year. Then she made us introduce ourselves. The first person to introduce themselves was Adam. I didn't even realize that he was in my class. He stood up and said in that proud,confident voice of his "Hi my name is Adam Lamb. I have two siblings and I live with my mom and dad. I also have a pet Guinea pig" then he took a bow in a jokingly way and sat down. Then Ms. Vincent called my name and I stood up and said quietly "Hi...my...name is... Kylie Hawthorne" then Ms. Vincent asked me to speak up so I said it a little louder. " Hi my name is Kylie Hawthorne. I am an only child I make exquisite pottery on Tuesdays and I only live with my mom" then I sat down looked at the ground. Then all of the sudden, the intercom came on and they said that our teachers had to escort us to the main gym for a back to school assembly. So Ms.Vincent walked us down to the gym. I couldn't find Megan or Natalie in the gym so then I started to have a panic attack. I had no one to sit by no other friends or anything. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder it was Adams'. He wanted to sit next to me during the assembly. Since he's my only other friend (crush. Well sort of) so I said yes. So we walked up to one of the bleachers and sat down. We talked for awhile getting to know each other until the assembly started, then I took out my notes notebook to take note on the school policies and stuff. He looked at me like I was crazy. He was really smart but he was very loose like he didn't care he was a fun guy. He told me "sometimes you gotta let loose" then he took my journal, " I'm taking this for a week I'm sure you'll be fine without it" then I sighed. I can't live without my notes it helps me go through life. So I tried to grab it back and then we started laughing. It was almost like he was flirting with me. He was so funny. But then we had to pay attention to the assembly. Once the assembly was over he gave me a hug and said "you'll be okay without this for a week" then I said "we'll see" then I left for my next class.
