Once I reached them I stopped and catched  my breath. "Did you guys see me in the back of the bus sitting all alone" I said. "No I didn't see you because I immediately saw Kylie waving her hands for me to go sit next to her" Natalie explained. "And I didn't see you because I just sat where the freshman were. Plus, I couldn't find you" Kylie said. So I explained what happened on the bus and they had apologized and laughed at the dude asking me out part.
I chuckled a bit, but then I put on my serious face. "Ok girls! Let's get our walk on!" We grabbed each other's  arms and strolled through the school dropping each other off. We walked in with style. Everyone looked at us like we were the cool kids. As we reached Natalie's locker, she broke away from our arms to her locker. Next was Kylie she broke off to go to her locker. Which was significantly next to the bookworms.

Then it was all me. I just strolled down the long hallway as people looked at me. Once I reached my locker, Brett showed up. We were really close friends that just started to like each other. So our relationship was complicated.
"Well you look pretty today" he says
"Well you look handsome today"
"So I see we have lockers next to eachother"
"Yeah that's pretty cool"
"Yeah..."
Then he left to his first class.
Things have been pretty awkward between us ever since 8th grade. Because that's when a lot of boys started to like me. Mostly because I got my braces off. So he became a little protective of his close friend, but I guess that was jealousy instead of protecting. So basically we turned from close friends in Kindergarten until 8th grade, and now we like each other. So things have been pretty awkward.

So I just walked to my next class and this time it was with the 'populars'. Mostly because all of them are my friends. The populars were a group of people that basically everyone paid attention to, and I was in that group. As I broke away from my group I walked into my first class. Math.
