"Hola! mi nombre es Mrs. Gonzalez" then she continued, " who can tell me what I just said?" While nobody rose their hand and the room was quiet I rose my hand to answer the question. She called on me and told me to say my name and answer her question. "Hello my name is Natalija Cortez, but you can call me Natalie." The class was still quiet. " but anyways, what Mrs. Gonzalez said was, 'Hello! My name is Mrs. Gonzalez" then I sat down and Mrs. Gonzalez said "BRAVO! BRAVO!" As she clapped her hands with excitement. As everybody shared their names and shared a cool fact about them I just sat there staring at Mrs. Gonzalez just admiring her teaching skills. I loved how she rolled her "r's" and how she spoke fluent Spanish and how she was so happy to be up there teaching. After everybody was done saying there name and the cool fact about them, it was time for the assembly. So Mrs. Gonzalez led us out the door and to the gym. I couldn't find Megan or Kylie so I just sat with my fellow classmates. Everyone in my class was so quiet and nobody really spoke much. So I just kind of sat there staring at the staff getting ready to host the assembly. Then all of the sudden this guy named Max tapped on my shoulder. I turned to my right and he said, " Hey! My names Max. And your name's Natalija right? Oh wait! I mean Natalie!" " Yeah that's my name." I found it strange on how he was so happy.
"So what middle school did you come from?" He asked kind of relaxed now.
"Adams Junior High" I answered.
"Cool! I came from Jefferson."
"Cool."
He was sort of cool in a way. Even though he seemed a bit too quirky, he was still really cool.  We talked for the whole time and he even spoke in Spanish to me which made me a little flirty. I love a guy whose bilingual like me so I can use my English and my Spanish around them. But I knew I couldn't get too flirty because I have a boyfriend. When the assembly was over we walked back to our locker to go to our next class..
