Chapter 8

Zenon's P.O.V
3 days later
Jazmine, Michael, Ricky, Luke, Jace, and I were walking around looking at all the cool exhibits and dinosaurs. Once it hit 1 we decided to go and get food. We walked around for a while until we found a place that caught Jace's and Luke's eyes. It was called The Dino Factory: Where Kids Can Play.

We walked in and sat down at a table near the front while Jace and Luke went to go play with on the playground.

"Luke! Jace! Come and eat!" I yelled as they came running over laughing as they jumped into their seats.

We all began to talk about Dylan and what had happened to him. I still didn't know the full story, and no one would bother telling me. I say their in silence eating my food. Until a pterodactyl flew into the window. I jumped up, being scared while the employees told us to go back to our rooms.

We all got up and began to run back to our rooms until they all made a sharp left. I stopped turned and followed after them, but I still didn't know exactly where they were going. I just kept on running until we finally hit the hospital. We ran through the doors and past the security guards. We kept running down the hallway until we hit room 47. They opened the door and there he was. Dylan lying on the stiff hospital bed. All I could do was cry. I couldn't stand seeing him like this. I walked towards him slowly as his hands began to twitch. I went to grab his hand, but the nurse ran up to me and screamed, "NO DON'T TOUCH HIM!" I backed away quickly not knowing why they didn't want me to touch him.

"Why? I mean...it's not like he has a disease." I said as she looked at me with open eyes.

"Does he have a disease?" I asked as she shook her head.

"No...just touching someone in a coma could affect their mental state. If he knows your touch and you mean something to him...I could make his heart race and he could possibly die." I looked at her with teary eyes. I nodded and turned around to leave the room. That was when the tears began to trickle down my cheek. I bolted out of the room and ran out of the hospital. I just wanted to run. Run away from it all. I just needed to get away.

Jazmine's P.O.V
Zenon ran out of the room and wouldn't stop running. I went to go after her, but when I looked she was already gone.

Everyone started to panic. Zenon was nice, caring, and she was strong. No one had ever seen her like this.

"Don't worry guys. It's gonna be okay, we're gonna be okay, Zenon's gonna be okay." To be honest, I didn't know if we were gonna be okay. I might loose my best friend.

Ashton's P.O.V
I walked up to Jackie's room, and softly knocked as she opened the door and pulled me in.

"Damn...it took you long enough." She said looking at me with an irritated glare.

"Sorry...I got held up." I said trying to safe myself.

"Okay, whatever, is Zenon dead?" Jackie asked with a hopeful smile on her face.

"No....but she just saw Dylan in the hospital and she ran out. She couldn't handle it. She'll be dead sooner or later, sooner if she does it herself." I said with a cheeky grin. Jackie grinned back and we began to laugh so hard that we couldn't breathe. She was going to be an easy kill.

"You better get going...or they'll catch you." She said as she playfully pushed me out the door.

"Okay...bye babe." I said as she kissed me before I shut the door behind me and ran down the hallway.

Zenon's P.O.V
I was finally alone. Nobody was here I was just alone. I sat at the edge of a giant waterfall as I began to cry. The tears were uncontrollable. They just kept coming, and there was nothing I could do to stop it. Then all of a sudden I felt a hand on my shoulder and someone say, "Hey...are you alright?" I looked up to see a young man with brown hair, blue eyes, and I bright white smile.

"Yea," I said as I sniffed, "I'm okay." He slid down the edge of the wall to sit next to me. He smelled of fresh ocean breeze. I couldn't help it I laid my head into his shoulder and began to bawl my eyes out.

He began to hug me really tight even though I didn't even know him. I started to feel so warm. I began to stop crying and looked down at his gray t-shirt and realized it was covered in my watery mascara.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" I said as I started to tear up again.

He then softly grabbed my chin, and wiped my tears away with his thumb then said, "Hey...it's okay. You don't need to cry." I looked at him for a long time, and he looked back at me. I began to shiver because of the gust of wind that blew by.

He looked at me and noticed I was cold so he took off his jacket and wrapped it around me.

"Thanks." I said softly as I laid my head on his shoulder. He didn't bother to stop me, he just sat there with his arms around me. We sat there for about an hour until I finally got up and said, "I should head back to my room." He said nodding as I took off his jacket to give it back to him.

"Keep it. My gift to you." He said as he smiled. "I didn't catch your name." He said just as I turned to head to my room.

I turned back around and said, "I'm Zenon. What's yours?"

"I'm Calum." He said as he looked down really shyly then asked for my number.

Not thinking about Dylan I gave it to him and he gave me his. I walked away with a big smile on my face.

I finally made it back to my room, and I opened the door to find Jazmine and Ricky  sitting on the bed watching a movie. I walked in and dropped Calum's jacket on the chair as I kicked off my shoes and sat down on the bed.

"We're were you?" Jazmine asked with a big smile.

"No where. I just needed some time alone and I got it. I'm okay now." I said as Ricky gave me a hug and left the room. Jazmine and I both lied in the bed and fell asleep.
