Chapter 15

I woke up to the shuffling of feet across the floor. I then opened my eyes to see confetti, and everyone standing in front of me.

"Happy Birthday !!" They all yelled. I rubbed my eyes to see everyone clearly. There Jazmine was already dressed in her birthday party dress, Ricky was already in his suit as was Calum and Michael. Luke and Jace even had little suits of their own.

"Thank you all so much ! I could never thank you all enough." They all pulled me out of bed, and handed me my outfit as I got into the shower to wash my hair that way I could curl it once I got out.

I took a quick shower, and stepped out to see Jazmine who handed me my towel.

"You know, you don't have to make me feel special today. It's just another birthday going by."

"What the fuck ?! No, you're the special person today and we're treating you like one." She pulled me over to the chair where my dress sat waiting for me. I slid that on. It was a off the shoulder dress from H & M, and I pulled the strap of my nude flats past my heel. I then sat down as Jazmine grabbed the curling iron, and began to work her magic.

She curled it, pulled it into a high ponytail, and wrapped one strand around the hair tie. It was her own beautiful creation.

"Thank you Jazmine. It looks amazing, now why don't you finish putting your makeup on while I do mine." I said as we both nodded, and faced the mirrors across from each other.

I finished contouring and highlighting my face as I then started with my winged eyeliner. I delicately took the brush, and carefully stroked upwards. I finished that, and put on the final touch. The mascara. I then quickly grabbed my promise ring from Calum, with my black and blue watch, and gold earrings. We both turned around, and Jazmine looked fucking amazing. She was wearing a floral mesh skater dress, with the black version of my flats, with her a pink flower bracelet along with pink and gold heart earrings.

"Woah ! You look amazing !" We both said in unison. We laughed and walked out to wear the guys were waiting for us. We both walked out, and I swear I saw Calum faint, but quickly came back up.

"Oh ..." Ricky started.

"My ..." Michael said.

"Fucking ..." Calum said.

"God !!" Jace and Luke both finished. That was so cute.

"Thanks." I said smiling. Calum then stood up, and kissed me on the cheek. He held out his arm as he escorted me, while Ricky escorted Jazmine, and Michael escorted Jace and Luke into the limo down to the church they were hosting my huge party at. We all got out of the limo, and Calum covered my eyes because they said it was surprise. Once I heard the doors close he uncovered my eyes, and I was seeing nothing but perfection.

There was not a single bit of girly girl to be found. The streamers were black and a turquoise blue, there was a huge DJ booth in the back with my recommended playlist. 5sos's new song Girls Talk Boys was on, and I could tell Calum really liked the song he was a huge fan. He pulled me over to the empty dance floor and we danced crazily until people started to arrive. Once it got to be about over 50 people the party started to light up. Everyone was enjoying the snacks, and selection of sodas, considering I was only turning 17. I wasn't allowed to drink yet. The DJ then spoke into the microphone.

"Okay, ladies, gentlemen, and Zenon the birthday girl !!" Everyone cheered as he continued. "We're gonna bring in down now. So if you have that special someone bring down to the dance floor, and show them your love." I looked directly at Calum as he lead me to the dance floor, and my favorite song, Thinking Out Loud came on by Ed Sheeran. Calum pulled me in close, and I laid my head onto his chest as we began to sway back and forth. Once the song was coming to an end I lifted my head, and our eyes locked. I then felt the sudden urge to lean in and kiss him. He seemed to have the same idea, but before he could react I grabbed his squishy cheeks, and kissed him as it turned into an in-sync kiss, and his hand made it's way up to my right cheek. We kissed for what felt like a lifetime, and pulled apart as the song slowly ended.

"Zenon ..." He said as he smiled, "I love you. For now and forever. Happy Birthday." I wiped the single tear that fell from my eye.

"Thank you. I love you too." I said as he took my hand, and got us both a coke to share. The can just happened to say, Share a coke with your lover. I showed Calum, and he laughed and took a sip and handed it to me. I took a swig, and burped loudly. All he did was laugh and say, "Good one." He gave me a high five and we finished our soda.

"Hey, I'll be right back. I'm going to go and discuss the plan with Ricky." Calum nodded and went over to meet some new people. I then walked over to Ricky by the doors.

"Is everything set up ?" I asked as he nodded and gave me a quick peek of the picture he took of Luke and Jace on the dinosaurs.

"Luke and Jace are a go. Luke has the egg and Jace has the ring in the box." I nodded making sure we had everything prepared.

"Okay. I'm going to get everyone's attention. So when you hear 'hit it' come in towards Jazmine who will be in the middle of the stage like I'll direct her to. Everyone will then make a path leading right to her." He nodded and smiled as he ran outside, and I ran over to the stage. I pulled Jazmine into the middle.

"Can I get everyone's attention ?" I said grabbing a glass and a spoon while I clung them together. Everyone came over, and all eyes were on me.

"I want to say thank you all for coming." I said as everyone started to clap. Once the claps dialed down I continued. "I love how all of you were here for me, but not all for just me." Jazmine looked confused.

"Hit it !!" I yelled as Ricky came in with Luke and Jace on mini velociraptors. Everyone began to move to make a path for Ricky to get to Jazmine. He got off the dinosaur as he then grabbed the box from Jace first.

"Jazmine Jalina Johnson. You're the most beautiful woman in the world. It's an amazing thing to wake up to everyday, and I want to for the rest of my life." He opened the box to a shiny, gold ring.

"I want you for the rest of my life. I love you Jazmine Jalina Johnson. Will you marry me ?" Jazmine bust into tears, and nodded as she went in to hug him. Once she let go he then went to Luke still sitting on the velociraptor. He picked up the egg, and held it out to Jazmine.

"For your promise that I will love you forever, I have gotten you your very own velociraptor." Jazmine broke down. Her makeup was everywhere and so were her emotions, but she loved very moment of it. We had an amazing time, we cleaned up, and started on our long journey home.
