3.) One More Day

One More Day

"Alyssa, get up it's time for breakfast!" my brother said as he opened my door, I just looked at him then, I put my head back down on my pillow. Today, I didn't want to get up because it was one more day to my 18th birthday, and on that day I was supposed to mate with the Alpha's son, Evan. He is the next Alpha for the pack and let me tell you he is probably going to be the worsest Alpha ever, he already sleeps with every girl he gets a chance with. "Come on Alyssa, your food is going to get cold.." he said coming in to sit on my bed.

"Okay, okay I'm getting up!", I said as I got up and went to the bathroom leaving my brother in my room alone. I wasn't in a really good mood because I don't want tomorrow to come so i'm going to make today slow as possible. So I took a shower to make to day to go slow. When I was done I made my way to the kichen to see if my dad and brother was still there.

"Hey mom, hi Jessie" I said to them as I was ignoring my brother and my dad at the table. My mom gave me my plate of food. I could feel my brother and my dad stare at my face. I took a bite of my food eating away not caring about what my dad or brother is thinking.

"Alyssa,  it seems you are in a good mood today", my brother said trying to get me to talk to him. I didn't bother with him so I just kept eating my food. I think my dad knows that i'm mad him for making me mate with a man whore.

"Alyssa, how was your night last night?" Jessie said looking at me with a smile, I just blushed because I know what she was getting at. She was asking if I had another dream about my mate and the truth is that I did.

In my dream me and my mate were walking around and he made sure I was by his side, he didn't even let me walk at least 10 inches away from him. I thought that was cute because he was a Alpha so he was very protective over his mate.

"I'll take that as a yes then" Jessie said smiling at me and my mom was in giggling at me too, while my dad and my brother give me looks of confusion. They wanted answers which I wasn't going to tell them.

"Maybe....maybe not you'll never know now will you" I said as I was laughing at the look on Jessie's face and my mom joined in with me.

After we got done eating my dad and my brother left to go to some pack business, my so called father said something about talking to the Alpha about what they are going to do about tomorrow. He still doesn't get the idea that I don't want to mate with that man whore. So after they left my mom had to go to the store and do some shopping so me and Jessie stayed home and watched tv, also we talked about random stuff that wasn't really important. She knew I didn't want to talk about whats going to happen to tomorrow, so I thought I should tell her what Evan said to me yesterday I just needed to it off my chest or I was going to be mad through the whole day.

After I told her the whole story about Evan and how he made it very clear that I had no choice in this matter. She stayed quite for a bit then she talked, "He had no right to say that to you...now thats pisses me off and you know I say to hell with this and beat the shit out of him. Just because he is going to be the next Alpha doesn't mean he can boss you around and tell you what to do and what not to do. You better find your mate and tell him about Evan so I can watch him get the shit beat out of him!" she kept going on about how Evan needed to be taught a leson or something, now this is making me smile.

After a while my mom came home and me and Jessie helped her put away the bags of food. Then, we talked about what we are going to do about my birthday then I spoke up, "I would like to spend my birthday by myself in the woods i'll be back for dinner okay" I said hoping they would let me do that before I was forced to do something I don't want to do.

"Alyssa, is that really what you want I just don't want you to be by yourself on your birthday", my mom asked as if she didn't want me to be by myself. "Yeah I think i'll just spend my birthday in the woods running around and just relaxing that whole day before the drama starts", I said pulling out a chair and took a bite of a apple.

After a while Jackie came over she said she fantastic news for me. "Alyssa, you'll never guess who my mate is, I just found out today" she said as she started to squeal and bounce up and down, on the couch in the living room. "Who is your mate?", I ask now I was scared to see who is her mate because she is picky about boys. "The third in command Austen", she said with a big grin on her face. "How did you know he was your mate?" I asked wondering who made the first move.

"Well I was walking around and I was walking with Nick, talking about random stuff. So Nick said he had stuff to do and ask me if I wanted to come with him, and I said yes. So on our way to get Nick's stuff and on our way there we ran into Austen. Who looked at me and boom we are mates...sorry I can't stay long I'm meeting with Austen later so I have to get ready" she said as she gave me a hug.

When she left I was by myself for a few more hours so it was 6 o'clock, I didn't want to be in the house by myself. My mom and Jessie went to go do something with out telling me and now I'm stuck here by myself. Its was boring here I had nothing to do at all so I decided to go to bed early without dinner because my appetite was ruined by what was going to happen tomorrow. So my day tomorrow was really ruined by the fact that I was going to mated with a man whore.

As I laid down all I could think about was what tomorrow was going to bring me. So I laid there hoping I will find my mate. So I feel asleep thinking about my mate.
