One Day

My name is Alyssa Hunter and in 3 days I going to be 18. I'm a werewolf so my life is different form humans. My wolf is white and she is really stubborn, she likes to run of course all wolves like to run. Also when girls wolf turns 18 they get to see who is there mate and I can't wait to find mine. A Mate is a wolves other half and when they see there mate the fall in love and when you touch them they feel electricity and I cant wait to feel that.

I have a older Brother name Jake who is possessive because I don't have a mate and probably won't let me have a mate now that I think of it. He is tall about 5'11 or taller I don't know for sure because I don't care about height. He has my dad's brown eyes and he is well built too. My dad is Beta of our pack and will be until the Alphas son found his mate. So my brother is next in line to become Beta so now my brother has a big head. My dad is taller then my brother so my brother isn't that tall.

My dad wants me to Mate with the Alpha's son who is the biggest player I ever known. I don't even want to mate with him, I keep telling my dad but he doesn't even listen me, now, my brother agrees with him. Only my mom wants me to wait and find my true mate, so I love my mom because of that. My mom has long brown hair with blue eyes, I think I get my looks from her and not my dad.

"Alyssa get your ass out of bed and get down here and eat your breakfast" my lovely brother yelled at me from the downstairs.

"Okay!!!" I yelled back at him so he'll leave me be. I got up before he came up and yelled more. I went to the bathroom just to comb my hair. I was 5'4 and had long wavey blackish drownish hair but mostly blackish and blue eyes. I mostly look like my mom except my hair color I got that from my dad.

I went down in my black tank top and my green basketball shorts, knowing my family won't care about what I sleep in, and also I was rushed out of bed. As I made my way to the kitchen I smelled my favorite food. I smelled eggs, sausage, pancakes, toast, and potatoes, yummmmy.

"Alyssa what took you so long?" Jake said as he sat down by his Mate her name was Jessie, she is very nice. She has long blond hair and she was probably 5'6. She looked like she could be a supermodel. Well all she-wolves are attractive so I think I'm a good size.

"Good morning to you" I said in a sarcastic voice and smilled at him while Jessie was giggling at what I just said. My mom had my food waitng for me at the table she was also giggling. My dad was reading the newspaper not even listening to us.

"Wow, Alyssa, I wish I could eat like you and not go over weight... Do you even care what you look like?" Jessie said, looking at my body. I never really thought of my weight maybe its because I don't really care what people think.

"I dont really care... It's not like i'm trying to impress anyone" I said as I took a big bite of my pancakes. If my mate doesn't like the way I look oh well.

"Oh yeah you'll be turning 18 in three days" My dad said looking at me, I stopped eating and kept looking at my food while my dad kept talking. "When you turn 18 you'll be mating with the Alpha's son.." He kept looking at me while I stared at my food, he kept talking, "The Alpha agreed with this idea, so we talked to his son...and his son thinks its a grate idea." my dad said this all in a happy voice while his words I let his words sink into me.

"This is great sis now you have a mate, and he is a mate that I like and will approve of to" my brother said all happy. His mate Jessie looking at me with pity, while my mom look shocked.

I want a mate but he is not my mate. The Alpha's son name is Evan and he is not my mate, my wolf don't even like him, he is a man whore who sleeps with everyone except me. I don't get why they won't let me find my mate, the one who is made for me.

"No" I said looking at my food. I could feel all eyes on me while I wasn't looking at anyone but I feel my fathers eyes burn on the side of my face.

"Alyssa you will listen to me!!' my dad yelled at me I kept my eyes on my food while my wolf was itching to get out and take over. My mom way trying to calm my dad down while my brother and his mate stayed quite.

"I want my own mate not him...I will mate with my mate not with some man whore....so you will not tell me who my mate is!!" I yelled back at my father who was now shaking, he was fighting his wolf, who wanted to take over.

I got up from the table and ran up stairs back to my room and slammed my door. I hate this!! Why does everyone want me to mate with Evan the man whore. Why does my dad have to be an ass to me he knows I hate Evan so why does he even bother. I may be his only daughter but that doesn't mean he has to go chose my path.

"Alyssa can I come in?" Jessie said as she came through the door. "I won't mate with him!" I said right away before she could say anything. "I know..." was all she said as she sat down next to me.

I know she probably won't have an answer but I have to ask her anyway. "Then why me out of all the girls here why did they pick me?" I tried to hide my wolves whimpers that she was making. She kept quite for a few seconds before answering me.

"Well lets see...you're very smart, and you're incredible beautiful, also any male wolf wants you for themselves. Also you are very kind to everyone and the whole pack respects you. Oh and you're more brave then the Alpha, don't tell him I said that. So all of that put together makes you a great Luna...just think about it....but I hope you find your mate and be happy." after that she left me in my room thinking about what she said. Most of it made sense so I kept running it through my head.

It felt like hours sense I have been in my room going over what she said to me but some of it was true like the whole pack liking me. I needed my best friend Jackie, she'll agree with me about this whole mess. So I mind linked her.

I"m coming over is that ok?? I ask her hoping it will be okay...

yay come on over Alyssa or should I say Luna?? she said making fun of me

How did you know what my problem is? I didn't even tell you yet. I asked hoping Evan wasn't telling everyone we were going to be mates

Come over and i'll tell you what I know so far...she said as she blocked me out.

I told my mom I was going to Jackies and she told me to be safe. On my way there I got weird looks from everyone and some of them came up to me and talked to me for a bit. When I got to Jackies house it was already going on 3 o'clock. She told me Evan was telling everone that we are going to be mates on my 18th birthday.

"Thats it i'm going to kill him.." I said pissed off. He had no right to say I was going to be his mate. As long as I live I will never accept him as my mate.

"Calm down.. I know and you know, that he is not going to be your mate, lets hope on your 18th birthday you will find your mate" Jackie said that with confidence like I was going to fine my mate, I hope I do.

It was 7:59 going on 8 o'clock so I called my mom telling her that I was spending that night at Jackie's house and she agreed that I can spend the night. She also told me that she will talk to dad and tell him that I can mate with my own mate, that made me happy. So for the rest of the night we talked about how we are going to spend my 18th birthday. I told her I want to spend my birthday along running in the woods she just laughed at me.

It was going on 12 so we decided to go to bed. As we got ready I was already in bed waiting for her as she got into bed I closed my eyes and started dreaming.

Thats when I came face to face with a big back wolf. Thats when a voice came in my head said One Day.
