I have a bit of a confession to make. I didn't want to be this way, but it seems like it's an immediate response. I mean, my brain doesn't even get to think before the words slip from my throat, it just comes out and most of the time I don't mean it. I don't mean to be so cruel. Yet, I can't help who I am.

"Uh-huh, that's nice," I begun to say, looking the other direction. I can't bring myself to make direct eye contact with people, I don't want to risk them seeing right through all my covers. So I kept my eyes glued to my cell phone, constantly reading old text messages over and over again.

"Are you even listening...?" I heard a familiar voice sigh, my head turned to catch the sight of a short blonde haired girl leaning back on her chair. The front legs left the ground as she crossed her arms and softly closed her icy eyes.

"Of course I am." I said in response, closing my phone and setting it on the table in front of me. My eyes drifted to the girl sitting in the chair, I couldn't help but to stare in awe.

"Then what should I do?" She begins to pout, opening her eyes and exchanging glances with me. A second later the front legs of the wooden chair came crashing against the ground with a bang.

"Why don't you just tell him?"

"How? How exactly am I supposed to do that?" She replied in that worried tone of hers, shaking her head and continuing on her pointless rant. "I mean... He's simply perfect and I'm... Well, me."

"Rin, don't say that," I muttered getting up from where I was sitting and walking over to her. I bent over a little bit so I was about the same height as the girl who slumped in the chair, "I'm sure Len feels just the same way, there's nothing to worry about."

"Yeah...." Rin continued, shifting positions as her thumbs clicked together nervously, "but what if he doesn't? I mean... What if he... He turns me down..?"

I released yet another sigh, advice was defiantly not my strong suit. I slowly exstended my hand towards her, poking her lightly in the forearm with my index finger, "you know, there's always the chance that Len is head over heels in love with you."

Rin's face then burned red as she shook her head rapidly, "no! That's not possible!"

"Huh? How come?"

"Because... He could do so much better than me..." Rin looked at the floor, her eyes soon became shrouded by her bangs and her rounded face was no longer visible.

"Better? Rin, there's no one better than you~" I sang with just a touch of sarcasm. I couldn't help but to manage a grin and a small laugh.

"Except Miku, Luka, SeeU, IA..." She continued to list names off the top of her head, using her finger as well, "I mean, even Kaito or Oliver would be better than I would ever be."

"Huh!?" I grinned, now sitting on the floor in front of Rin, "Len and Kaito? Oh~"

The younger Vocloid looked up, her face burning red, "no! That's not what I mean! L-Len c-can't be-? With Kaito?"

"It's not?" I questioned, a playful smile growing across my face, "because I could totally see them together."

"Don't even joke about that!" The girl snapped, standing up from the wooden chair and nearly falling over, "Len is mine! End. Of. Story."
