After I pulled up to the parking lot in my truck, I'm noticed by a lot of people. It doesnt bother me, because I'm a princess. I look around to see if I know anybody, but I don't see anybody I recognize, so I pull up into a parking spot close to the school, and hop out. I then walk into the school, and to the office.

I shuffle over to the desk that the secretary is sitting at. I knock lightly on the wood to grab her attention. She looks up quickly and smiles at me. I can tell she's a nice person just by the genuine smile and the look in her eyes. I smile gently at her, and tell her I'm a new student politely.

"Alright, I need your name, before I can give you anything, hun" she says, still smiling.

"My name is Carter La-Fae" I politely say. Hey, I know I'm polite. It's just how I was raised. I was taught to be polite, and if I ever had to fight someone, do it being witty and calmly. Never in a jealous rage or anything like that. Faeries aren't like vampires or were's. The vampires are always calm and collected, but have a bit of a temper and once angered they won't stop until they get their revenge, wether it be prank or even death. The were's (werewolves and werecats) were really easy to anger, and extremely compassionate, except for a few rouges and cold leaders.

"Here are your things, sweetie" she hands me the things I need. I guess I spaced out a bit there. I take them gently and quickly, and head to my first class. All I brought with me was bag, and a few notebooks and pens. My bag was a one shoulder bag that carried the things that I need. I put the papers in there, except for the map and schedule, and checked them out. I looked over them, and after a few minutes, I had memorized them both. I put them in my bag and walked to my first class, which was an art class with Mr. Wood. I hoped he would let me do what I wanted to, because I was only good at art when I did what I wanted to. Otherwise, I just failed on purpose.

I get to the door, and see a casual looking guy sitting at the front desk. I hope that he's the teacher, so I don't have to deal with a strict teacher.

I find a random easel in the back and set my bag next to it. I sit on the stool in front of it and wait for the lesson to start. After a few minutes of sitting there, someone taps my shoulder. I look around to see an old friend of mine. Lydia, the Vampire Princess. The look of shock on her face makes me giggle, which breaks her out of her shock. She grabs me in a tight hug. I hug her back, still giggling.

"I had no idea you went to this school!" she exclaims, a genuine grin settling on her face. I grin back at her, and pat the stool of the easel next to me. She sits down messily, while I sit down properly. What a pair of friends we are.

"I transferred, Lydia" I tell her, the huge smile still on her face, being as contagious as it is, making me smile. She starts to say something, but the bell signalling the start of class goes off.

"Alright class, as you know, this is art class. And art is supposed to be expressive. So paint whatever you like. Oh, we also have a new student. Good luck to whoever you are!" the teacher ends with a flamboyant bow. I giggle, as does Lydia.

I face my easel, and start to paint my garden back at the Faerie Castle. It's huge, and if anyone wants to, I let them plant what they would like. So I have a huge array of flowers and trees. It's a bit, okay a lot, on the wild side, which is how faeries believe plants should be. Wherever they want. There is a path, which can have two people walk side by side, though, that leads everywhere in the garden. While we're painting, Lydia starts to talk to me.

"So, found you're mate yet?" she asks bluntly, all the while a small smile on her face. It was a good thing the corner we were in was a bit secluded, so you would have to have enhanced hearing, like the some supernaturals do, to hear us. I shake my head and sigh. She gives me a sympathetic smile.
