This is based off of a song like my other fic Kaleidoscope Eyes, but this one is based off of Never Say Never by The Fray. Its a beautiful song and I listen to it when writing some of the parts in my fics.

 Phil walked down the hall into the main office. "Um excuse me, I'm new" Phil nervously told the woman. "Your Philip Lester" the woman replied. Phil just nodded. "Here's your schedule and everything else you need" the woman said while handing him papers.

____Later

 Phil walked into maths class and took the only free seat next to a boy with tan skin and a fringe. Phil said hello to him, but there was no response. Then the boy handed him a paper, it said Hi.

What is your name? Phil wrote

Dan, you?

Phil

I'm guessing your new

Yeah

You should never try to talk to me unless you want to call me names like 'fag' if you want to survive this school

Why

I'm a pretty big target. You don't want to be one too. You could have a nice time here if you stay with the crowd and do what they do.

What happens if I don't?

Your life becomes hell, and if it is all ready hell then it will become 10 times worse

 Dan scribled over the notes in black sharpie and ripped them up.

 "How was your first day?" Phil's mum asked Phil as he walked through the door. "Fine" Phil responded while walking upstairs into 'his' room.

It didn't feel like it was 'his' room to Phil. All it was at the moment was a room with a bed, a wardrobe, a desk, a couple of unpacked boxes, and the rest of his things, but it still didn't feel like his room. Same with the house. It was just a house, not a home, and especially not 'his' home.
