Three months later and there I was, living in a stage setting. I still worked at the hospital. People actually ignored the video posted. As for the people who posted it, they went to prison. I smiled and looked down at my ring. Yeah, I got engaged. I moved into the Cullen's house. I walked around the hospital, still interning but it was better. I walked the halls of the hospital, it was the middle of the night.
"Hey (Y/N)!" I heard Shawnessy call after me. I looked back and smiled. Things changed around here pretty quick. Shawnessy and I were friends. Jamie disappeared after I came back. Nobody knows why.
"Hey!" I replied. We talked about everything together. "How's it going?"
"Good. Anything special happen lately?" She asked. I hadn't told anybody about the engagement.
I smiled, "Maybe." Shawnessy just shook her head and laughed. Everyone knew about me and Carlisle. We didn't hear Carlisle sneak up behind us. He had a habit of doing that. It caused me to develop a sixth sense. "Don't even think about it, Carlisle." I heard a chuckle from behind me.
"I gotta run." Shawnessy spoke.
"Don't get lost," I joked. As Shawnessy left, Carlisle hugged me from behind. Sure, life wasn't perfect, but it was my happily ever after. I'm glad I came back to Forks.
