Beverly's POV

I've been in the hospital for 2 days. Not moving from the chair. I only grabbed coffee and went for a bathroom trip. I didn't even sleep at all. I was like a zombie. That's all. Benard was not making any progress, his fever still as high as ever, going down ever once in a while but it goes straight back up. There wasn't a call or text from anyone. It was as if I never was on this planet. I grabbed Benard's tiny hand, playing with it. "Please be okay Benard. Be strong," I whispered trying not to cry.

Who am I kidding? Benard's life is on the line and I can't do anything about. All I can do is to hope Benard is gonna be okay... The room was then filled with my sobs and Benard's soft beating of his heart.

Liam's POV

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THE BOTH OF THEM ARE?!" Beverly's Mum, Millie yelled at us angrily and we hung our heads in shame. "We thought she went out or stayed with you guys or something..." Harry said trailing off and I nudged him in the hardly. "So you didn't even bother to call or text her?! Something could have happened to them and no one would have any idea what is going on! Two of my children are out there in Manchester and all you can say you think?!" she yelled narrowing her eyes at us.

"What about you Zayn?! I entrusted Beverly in your hands and now, you have no idea where is she! What kind of boyfriend are you?! If I knew this was happening, I would never EVER let Beverly be your girlfriend!" Millie yelled at Zayn and he shrunk back involuntarily. "I'm sorry Millie," he said, not daring to look up. "Sorry is no use right now! The tour is on hold until we found the both of them." With that she walked out of our hotel room and slammed the door shut.

We fell on the couch sighing. I looked at Zayn and he was busy typing on his phone, not worried at all. "Zayn, what's with you. Ever since you started to talk to Perrie, you've been neglecting Beverly, acting as though she isn't here at all," Louis said concerned. "I'm worried about her!" he snapped angrily before continuing typing away on his phone.

Where are you Bev? Please be okay...

Brandon ran up to me, pulling my shorts. "Yeah buddy?" I asked as the other boys other than Zayn looked at Brandon. "Where's sissy? Where's little brother? I miss them," Brandon said almost crying and I was stunned. I had no idea what to tell him. Louis ruffled his hair slowly smiling sadly. Brandon stared at us with the most innocent eyes. What can we tell him? I sighed.

Beverly's POV

I was mentally and physically tired. Really really tired. I didn't even eat and I felt like I was gonna faint at any point of time. Suddenly Benard's heart beat became a line and I stood up as the doctors and nurses rushed in. "Benard!" I yelled crying as a nurse pulled me out of the room.

Everything was in slow motion. The doctor trying to regain Benard's heart beat. I slumped against the wall crying. The doctor came out and I stood up. "I'm sorry. But we've tried our best," as soon as those words left his mouth, I leaned against the wall crying. Benard. My little brother. Was de-dead? Why? Why him? He was so innocent. He did nothing wrong. Why him?!

I walked in the room as the nurses were unhooking the wires and everything. I grabbed Benard's tiny cold hand and kissed him on the forehead. "You'll be missed Benard. Don't forget that. Live a good life up there in Heaven Benard. Bye," I whispered before letting go of his hand and walked out of the room. I did the death papers and I left the hospital telling them that I'll be back soon.

I felt dizzy due to the hunger and exhuastion. I hailed a taxi to go back to the hotel. The taxi soon stopped and I got off paying the driver, without getting the changed. I walked into the hotel to my hotel room like a zombie. I slid in the hotel card and opened the door. The boys sat on the couch worriedly. I ignored their calls before going to my room. I locked the door and started to cry. For Benard who was in a better place.
