"What?" Gabe stuttered as he stared at Angela rummaging through the cupboards.

"I need you to make me angry. It's not that hard a concept to grasp." She started pulling out metal objects from the drawers, pots, pans, knives... When Gabe saw her pull out a threatening looking meat cleaver from the top drawer he gulped loudly.

"And why do you want me to make you angry?" He asked hoarsely, his eyes still fixated on the cleaver.

"If I can control my powers when I'm angry then I can control them at any other point." Gabe still eyed her warily so she just pushed past him to stand by the front door, her miscellaneous collection of metal objects still in her arms. Reluctantly, he brushed past her, muttering about the necessities of meat cleavers in an every day household anyway.

Soon enough they were stood in the back garden once more, the floor was still littered with shards of metal and Gabe eyed them amusedly. Angela dropped her collection on the floor and went about lining them up side by side along the grass. When she was done she scooted back on her bottom and turned to Gabe.

"I need you to make me mad now." She said calmly.

Gabe stared at her bewilderedly, "And how am I supposed to do that?" He asked.

"I don't know, you're usually the expert in these situations." She shot back, one eyebrow raised.

Gabe looked around the garden for inspiration, his eyes landed on her feet which were stretched out in front of her as she relaxed on the grass. With a smirk he leapt forwards and yanked her shoes off her feet, throwing them over the fence one by one.

"What the hell Gabe?" She shouted "I asked you to make me angry not injure me, there are metal shards everywhere!"

Gabe glanced around, one eyebrow still raised, "So there are, my apologies your majesty." His eyes flickered to the collection of kitchen utensils on the floor but none had moved an inch. Smirking slightly, he moved backwards daintily, darting around the glittering shards which littered the grass.

"Why don't you come over here?" he called, an eyebrow raised mockingly, Angela huffed but obliged, wincing as the sharp edges protruding from the ground cut into her feet, she was almost in front of Gabe when he started forwards, shoving her to the ground roughly.

"Gabe!" she yelled, eyes flashing dangerously, the miscellaneous kitchen utensils behind her stirred slightly but she reigned her emotions in, concentrating on nothing but the tug and pull on the metal instruments in her mind.

"I'm sorry," Gabe bent over, looking regretful "that was too much, I could have hurt you." he reached out his hand and began to tentatively pull her to her feet, she shot him a grateful smile but was stopped short when she noticed the mischievous spark in his eye. Sure enough within seconds she was lying on the ground again, groaning in pain.

Once again the metal instruments stirred behind her, but not enough to worry Gabe who appeared to be getting into his stride.

As Angela attempted to sit up he simply flicked his finger and pushed her shoulders back down forcefully. He knelt next to her, still grinning, and dug his hand into the soil, bringing up a huge clump which he wasted no time in smashing into her face. She gasped which only resulted in her inhaling some of the dirt and coughing and retching, luckily Gabe allowed her to sit up this time and she leant over, her throat burning as she coughed away.

Gabe took another look at the weapons laid out across the garden, they were stirring slightly but she seemed to be in control still, he ground his teeth, either she had a huge amount of control, or she wasnt really very angry.

Roughly, he pulled Angela, now finished retching, to her feet and examined her for a second, she stared back into his strange eyes warily, still not knowing what he was up to. Her heartbeat spiked when he smirked arrogantly, this could only be something bad. Slowly, his hand made its way to her cheek whilst the other wound itself in her hair, she had just enough time to see him raise an eyebrow mockingly before he crashed his lips to hers with  such force the world ceased to exist for a few seconds.

Of course, as Angela realised exactly what had just happened, the world returned with a massive bang and Gabe fell to the floor like a rock. It took her a few seconds but Angela worked out what had happened exactly. The very meat cleaver that Gabe had been eyeing so warily before was lying by her feet and Gabe's face was swollen and bloody, he barely resembled himself at all.
