Part XIII

Orochimaru

I don't want to threaten this boy just yet, but I am ordered to tell him the truth about us by our leader... Nagato.

"Naruto, I need to tell you a story about your family and that Uchiha's." I told him abruptly.

He looked away, but stayed and didn't run. "Just hurry up with it!" He didn't even sound shy, it's like he was expecting me to come.

I put the knife back in my pocket because there is no use for it if he isn't going to run away. I start talking to him, "Their is an organization of criminals that have never been caught by the police, I am one of them and soon to be retiring. They are known as the Akatsuki."

I than went in my bag to get a folder out to show him. At first he was cautious thinking I was going to do something to him, but than realized it was a folder and calmed down.

"These are 11 members of this organization." I handed him the folder. "The one that killed your parents by driving a truck filled with oil and placing a fox in the middle of the road is known as Tobi. I doubt that is his real name, but he is new and won't talk to the others in a serious manner."

He kept looking through the pages, "Wait! My art teacher is in here!"

"You must be talking about Deidara. He has the job of spying on you, Sasuke, and Hinata."

"I know this is about me and Sasuke, but what does this have to do with Hinata?" He asked closing the folder.

"She has the highest clan in this village. If we take them down, we will be indestructible. Everyone would fear us and we would win." He gave me back the folder and I put it back in my bag.

"The one that killed Jiraiya us the leader of the Akatsuki. He was trying to make the move of killing your guardian and kidnapping you. It's a long story that he won't tell us of what he wants to do with the hostages." I than continued, "The one that killed the entire Uchiha Clan was another Uchiha. Known as Itatchi."

He interrupted, "Wait! I've heard of his name before, is he Sasuke's-"

"Yes, he is that boy's older brother." I gave him the answer.

"But I thought he died, that is what Sasuke told me."

"He faked his death because he cares for his younger brother that he doesn't want him to think he is a bad example. Especially when he was young. You can tell him about this now, he didn't know who actually killed his clan. I don't know why he did, but all the members knew that he did and we decided he should be in the Akatsuki."

Naruto looked pale as ever. "I understand... is that all, or are you going to kidnap me?"

"I have retired and this was my last duty. I don't really have to and I really don't want to." The kid let out a breath of relief. "But you should keep you guards up, they specifically want you and eight others. One of them goes to your school, he is known as Garra of the sand."

"I know him, Temari's brother. Is there anyone else I know?" He asked.

"No, that is all..." I nodded to him.

"Is their anything else you need to tell me?"

"Just one more thing..." I started to walk away turned around so I wouldn't see him. "Your parents and my old friend, Jiraiya's deaths did mean something. They meant to protect you and only you. Remember that... kid.". I than was gone and he couldn't hear another word from me.

Naruto

I paused. I couldn't move for the words he said to me.

I started walking 5 minutes later when I finally can move. Instead of going to my house, I am going to Sasuke's to tell him the truth. I am more worried for him because he has a brother he cared for so much and if he found out that is a criminal and killed their family, I don't know what he is going to do.

Once I got to his house. I straightened my position to look stronger and make myself not bringing out a tear. Once he opened the door my eyes started to water. Feeling sorry for him.

"May I come in?" I asked, knowing this is going to be a long talk.

"Sure..." He let me through and we sat at the kitchen table. I was on one side and he was on the other.

I started talking, "I saw Orochimaru just a few minutes ago."

"Wait! You did?! What did he say!" For once in his life, he looked terrified. Sakura must've change his emotions and make him show them a lot now.

I finally spoke, "He told me the people who killed my family and yours." I looked down.

"Do I know them?" He abruptly asked.

"You know yours, but mine were complete strangers..." I was trying to hold a grip. "Orochimaru told me that there is this organization that he just retired from, it's called the Akatsuki."

"So who cares about this 'Akatsuki' Who killed my family!?"

"I-It... was your brother, Itatchi." Those were the toughest words I could have ever tell him. "He faked his death so he wouldn't be a bad influence towards you... That is all I know."

Sasuke looked paralyzed. He couldn't say another word and his face looked like he was going to go out and kill somebody. "Naruto, thanks for telling me." He finally spoke out of consideration. "I'll show you out to the door."

I followed to the front door, "Are you sure you're going to be all right? I can call Sakura to see you."

"No, please don't call her. It's late and I don't want her to see me like this. It's best if you keep this between us."

I nodded my head as I went out the door. He closed the door and I started to walk home. I really didn't worry about Garra, but I will tell him about this tomorrow since I can't make it to his house at this time. It's a 2hr walk so I would rather just tell him at school.

I went home, didn't read the manga that Hinata gave me because I wasn't in a really good mood, got in my pj's, than went to bed. I covered myself in a blanket and quietly cried, realizing that not only my family died, but they were murdered my criminals that are out to kidnap me.

I soon enough fell asleep until morning arises.
