"Over ten thousand members of a known terrorist organisation, formally known as Anonymous, have started protesting outside City Hall in New Nebraska, NATO Swat teams are moving in to disband the protest. As of this moment all we know is that, once again, they are protesting against our Government."-BBC world news, September 11 2874.

"Honey, come inside."

"But there is a fancy dress party! I wanna go! Lemmie go!"

"No sweetie, they are not good people. Come on, come inside."

"But mommy"

"Come now, child,  come inside or I will get father back home to teach you a lesson!"

"I miss Daddy, mommy."

"We all do, sweetie. Now, go watch some TV. I am going to cook us up some food."

The young girl went inside, hearing a locking sound behind her. She walked to the living room, where the chairs were all set up facing the TV. She peeked outside, once more, taking a glance at the men in masks, all carrying signs showing different things, most with a famous persons head with a red cross through it, she didn't know what it meant though.

"Why do they all look the same?" She queried, thinking her mother knew everything.

"They are trying to take away what is rightfully ours, as Ka'lrls we helped this planet, but those 'men' out there don't want us in such high power in the government, they think that we are stealing all the money and financing everything ourselves. Well, i'll tell you, your father isn't fighting wars for free, so of course money needs to go to the war fund, but they don't want it, they think we can have peace. It's impossible, you know that." The daughter just looked at her mother, expecting a simpler version, but it never came. The mother settled down at the chairs and brought open a holographic chest, opening inside brought a tablet computer, which the daughter couldn't properly see.

"Sweetie, if anything goes wrong run upstairs to the dial and press the code 2014, okay?" The mother looked scared, and the look reflected upon her daughter.

"Okay, but what do I do?"

"You're nine years old now, sweetie. Your father taught you how to use a disintegrator, didn't he?"

"Of course, I got nine perfect shots, he was proud of me!"

"I know, I know." The mother got up, and walked to another chest, this one much larger and non holographic. "I'll be using this then, now. Get behind the chairs and let's wait." From the television they could hear the news report, detailing the start of a mass riot. However, after a minutes broadcast the sound was interrupted by a hacker, by anonymous.

"Greetings my fellow slaves, I trust you know who we are. Now, we want one thing, and one thing only. Riot against the government, they are slaving you away, you don't get the right treatment. You know who does? The Ka'lrls. They  get everything, we humans get nothing. Not one thing, only pain, sorrow and death. We don't see them fighting in any wars, why not? Because they've corrupted the government! We will now begin attacking all known Ka'lrls, there will be no escape. They will all sacrifice themselves to their foolish cause, their cause which they claim saved the earth. And, we will spare no mercy on anyone. This day, the anniversary of a claimed terrorist attack, will forever be revised. Today, this day, September the eleventh, twenty eight seventy four, will always be remembered. The day we reunited everyone with their government, and got rid of all Ka'lrls! Farewell my friends, and my enemies." The broadcast ceased, filling the room with static. At that moment, huge masses of gunfire could be heard from their walls. "Runa, go upstairs now. Get that weapon and charge it up. This isn't going to end well." The mother spoke, but it felt like silence for the daughter, but she understood.

Runa ran, ran as fast as she could up the stairs, reaching her fathers room. A picture of him stood proudly, he was with his two best friends, a Momentius and a human, the three races all stood together with their arms around each others backs, smiling at the camera. Runa noticed, however, that the Momentius had a slight scar, she hadn't noticed it before. Of course, she knew she would remember it. It went straight from his brow down to his cheek, all red and blushing against the pale skinned wearer. She stopped for a second glancing at the photo, then ran to the weapon and the charger. However, she heard an eruption down the stairs, and even though she was young, she knew what it was.

"Mommy!" She screamed, and grabbed the weapon. Behind it she noticed something new, there was a transporter system, one which could vaporise an object and send it wherever it wanted. And within the holder which stood aside to the transporter stood a dagger, a sharp and painful one. Runa took it, and hid it inside her blouse.

"Come downstairs, child. We won't hurt you." Runa heard from downstairs, followed by more weapons firing. And, that she did. Runa went down the stairs, and looked the masked men in the eyes. She pressed hard on the trigger, releasing a mass of energy onto the man. He died within a second of it hitting him. Runa, then noticing her mother, ran by her side. She knew that the hole in her chest could not be fixed, not by anything. She wanted her to speak, and she did.

"Runa, you have to escape. Get some money from your fathers safe, code 2014 again, and get to New Melbourne, it's safe there. And, your fathers' friend works down there, he will look after you. Now sweetie, don't follow my loss. Your life is just beginning, I will watch over you. I promise." She managed to say, taking brief intervals after every other word. Tears began to run down her face, but were promptly removed by Runa's hand grazing them. Runa now felt mature, she understood what was going on. She needed to escape to New Melbourne.
