Lou gasped as she fell underwater, and closed her eyes, fearing the end.
"Hey, it's okay" she heard a voice coming from beside her.
Lou opened her eyes and found that the could see.
She looked around wildly, until her eyes came to rest upon a fimilure figure.
Cecil.
He slowly swam towards her.
"It's okay" he said softly "you can breath, it's fine"
Lou Ellen realised that she was still holding her breath, as she started to sway.
But she shook her head, not trusting the illusion that allowed her to talk to Cecil.
He started to look worried
"Lou, it's okay. You can breathe"
Just as the world started to turn a faint greenish tinge, Lou Ellen's lungs couldn't take it anymore.
She took a huge breath, and waited for the water to coming rushing in.
Nothing happened.
Lou laughed, she could breathe underwater!!!
She looked around, astonished by the alien looking world underneath her.
"Are you alright?" Cecil asked
Lou turned suddenly, almost forgetting that her best friend was behind her.
She nodded slowly, still looking around.
"How did you get down here?" Cecil asked quietly.
Lou tried to remember. It seemed like ages ago
"Some demigods threw me into the lake. I think it was Percy, and Thalia."
Cecil nodded,
"Same here"
They continued to float, looking at the scenery, until a sharp wave suddenly hit them
"Ouch" Lou shouted, as something hit her.
More waves where coming, each one harsher than the last.
Lou's body crashed into something, and it wrapped its arms around her.
"It's okay" he said, whispering in her ear, "it's nearly over"
Lou Ellen bit back a sarcastic retort, almost biting her tongue, and her back slammed into a rock
Cecil and Lou both winced at the same time.
Suddenly, they were both blown backwards, into a cave
The water seemed to still in there, and the rushing of the the waves disappeared.
"It's a storm" Cecil said, swimming over to peek out of the cave
"We won't be able to get back up safely. We might have to bunk in here for a while"
Lou nodded, but winced as her sore back rubbed against her top.
"Are you alright?" Cecil asked quietly, coming up from behind her.
Lou nodded slowly,
"Yeah, I'm good. I'm just a bit bruised from hitting the rocks back there"
Cecil gently grabbed her shoulders, and turned her around, shaking him head.
"Nu uh. Your bleeding." He said, bringing his finger tips up, which were coated in blood.
Lou shrugged,
"It's nothing" she said,
"I'll just use my magic"
Her fingertips started to glow, until...
They suddenly went out.
"Damn it!" Lou said, trying again, only to wield the same results
Cecil shrugged,
"Look, I'm going to have to see the wound. Your magic is probably being blocked by whatever is keeping us breathing"
Lou swallowed and nodded slowly, as Cecil smiled and ripped a small bit away from the back of her top.
Lou found herself blushing, and shivering slightly when ever he touched her skin.
'What's going on?' She asked herself 'am I ill or something?'
After half an hour, Cecil finally said
"There, done"
Lou nodded slowly, and turned around looking directly at Cecil.
"Thanks"
"No problem"
"So...what do we do now?"
"I dunno, the storms still going"
"Wanna explore?"
"Sure"
They started to swim through the cave, looking in wonder at the way that the water shined over the rocks, the fish and the coral, and the beautiful colours.
They swam for hours and hours, admiring the beauty of the place.
Eventually, they managed to go on a loop, and they made their way back to the cave.
Cecil glanced upwards
"Looks like the storms cleared. It'll be safe for us to go up now" he said, glancing around
Lou nodded, and went over to the opening to see for herself.
"Yeah" she said...

Suddenly, Cecil laughed
"You know, we don't have to go up straight away" he said, moving his eyebrows up and down in a way only Cecil would.
Lou laughed, and shifter over, so that she was leaning against him, and she put her head on his shoulder.
Cecil stretched and wrapped his arm around Lou's waist, causing than both to laugh.
Cecil stared at Lou, and she stared back.
They unconsciously moved forwards, until...

...

((Hey Alex, thanks for letting me steal this Time Skip))

...

Half an hour later, Cecil and Lou Ellen resurfaced from the depths of the lake.

Some of the campers smirked at Lou's messed up hair, and Cecil's bruised lip.

They both said that as they were about to swim up they were attacked by a shoal of fish, and Lou picked up a dead fish to prove it.

But, Piper was certainty that, when everyone had let them go, she saw the fish turn see-through for a moment, almost as if it was made out of mist.

Piper shook her head, just a truck of the light...

Right?

~~~~~~~~~
Okay, I'm going to admit it.
I hated that chapter.
It just, wasn't written well.
Anyway, I'm too lazy to go back and change it.
So yeah, do you think that they really were attacked by fish?
And remember,
Don't tell Lou about this book!
