You sat silently at a lunch table and began to eat your sandwich. You sighed to yourself as your eyes scanned the cafeteria. The day got more stressful as it went on, resulting in your disposition.

You rested your chin in your palm as you finished off your lunch. "Um,excuse me." You look up to see a boy with auburn hair and olive skin beaming down at you. "Is anyone sitting here?" He asked.

"Uh, um no." You rambled as you grew nervous. You realized that he was a new student. He was beautiful, he looked unlike any boy you've seen before.

He smiled and sat directly across from you. Your eyes fixed on him as you studied his actions. "I'm Joshua." He stuck his hand out to shake yours. You let your hand brush against his before shaking it sternly. "I'm Carla, nice to meet you." You grinned at the small body contact.

You made small talk until the bell rang. "See you later." You waved him off as you made your way to class.

3:03pm
The school day was over. You exited class with a grin on your face You walked to your locked and noticed a familiar figure standing near it. You placed a hand on your lock and slowly began to unlock it. After looking to the side of you, you realized that it was Joshua. "Hey." You mumbled.

"Oh hey, Carla." He looked suppose as he turned to greet you. "It's kinda a coincidence how your locker is next to mine." He continued and chuckled to himself. "Yeah, I know right." You laughed as you opened your locker.

You grabbed your belongings and made your way down the hall. Faint foot steps caused you to turn around and see Joshua again. "Sorry, I was just wondering if I could walk you home. I just really like talking to you." You blushed to yourself as you listened to him speak.

"That's really nice of you." You nodded as you began to walk again. "You've been really nice to me, unlike others at this school." He opened the exit door for you as he talked. As you exited you scrunched your eyebrows in confusion. "Really? How could anyone be mean to you. You're so cute." Your eyes widened as you realized what you just said.

"I mean." A faint breath escaped your mouth as your aimlessly rambled. You heard him chuckle under his breath.

"Well I'm flattered." He tapped your shoulder playfully. You looked down at your feet as you walked upon the concrete.

Silence occupied the "conversation" as you grew more nervous. As soon as you looked up you tripped on some uneven pavement.

Joshua quickly lunged forward and caught you. You were seconds away from the ground as your breath was heavy. "T-thanks." You accidentally looked directly in his eyes.

The two of you stood up correctly and smiled sillily at one another. "No problem." He chuckled. "I'm really clumsy." You tried to inform him. "Adorably clumsy." Joshua bit his lip and looked down at you.

He moved closer until the space between you two disappeared completely. He allowed his lips to grazed yours. Your lips unified. His right hand cupped your check and his left hand caressed your arm.

You began to feel weightless as the taller boy gracefully pecked your lips. He moved away from you allowing you to breathe. "Thank god, I saw you at lunch." He laughed, causing your cheeks to redden.
