The Little Coffee Shop

It was a chilly Autumn day
For the leaves jumped up all around
From all the passing winds through the sky.
But the weather didn't matter
Inside the little coffee shop.

A room filled with delight!
As jazz hummed into the air.
All the troubles vanished
Inside the little coffee shop.

And siting in the corner on the couches,
Sat the girl who sipped her coffee.
She quietly typed among her laptop
Inside the little coffee shop.

It was faces like hers who filled
Those with smiles;
For she likes to remain happy.
On the couches sat the girl, who typed
Inside the little coffee shop.

Now a boy, with coffee in hand,
Always watched the beautiful face.
She typed away, and drank coffee
And gave an occasional glance to the boy,
Inside the little coffee shop.

The boy, with red cheeks,
Smiled back as he clicked
The keys of his laptop.
Inside the little coffee shop.

So the boy and the girl
Sat and typed,
Not realizing they were both writers
Inside the little coffee shop.

Oh what irony when they realize
The characters in their stories were each other.
They sat and typed
Inside the little coffee shop.
