Fish

I am nothing but a little fish.
Just a fish trapped inside the dish
That is clear for all to see,
But they don't understand what it's like to be me.

Just a tiny fish in a big world.
But inside the glass, life remains swirled
As I swim around, unable to think;
Of the day when I am poured down the sink.

Because fish like me don't live long
But all I ask is what did I do wrong?
I am just a microscopic fish,
Living in the bowl with only one wish.

I want to roam free in the sea,
And swim and fill my mind with glee.
But sadly, I am just someone's pet
Filling my mind with self regret.

First of all, thanks for reading.
This poem is kinda strange. I wrote it from the POV of a fish. So, it is about the life of a pet fish.
