Chapter 8.

Maci POV;

Jacob: "aight guys thanks, I wanna spend some time with Maci... alone"

Boys: "cool bro"

Daniel: "you still on later yeah?"

Jacob: he looked at me "yeah gotta do what I gotta do"

the boys left and Jacob just stood there staring at the floor, I walked over to him and took his face in my hands, I looked deeply into his eyes.

Me: "what's wrong?" I spoke softly to him.

Jacob: "There's something I need to tell you but I'm scared you'll get up and leave me."

Me: "you can talk to me about anything, I wont leave you."

Jacob: "follow me."

he led me upstairs to the bathroom and locked the door behind him.

Jacob: "sit down."

I sat down as he took off his shirt and revealed his back to me, I saw long scars and short scars, some old, some new, I traced my finger over them examining them carefully.

Me: "come."

he faced my way as I embraced him with a hug kissing his shoulder and rubbing his back.

Me: "how did you get those?"

Jacob: "knifes, belts, glass you name it"

Me: "how did those things hurt you?"

Jacob: "promise you wont leave me," I nodded, "you asked me why I have so much authority or power over the guys, its because I'm their sort of boss? We sell drugs, weapons and cars but sometimes we come across people trying to scam us so we have to fight and sometimes were not prepared for some of the stuff that happens and well sometimes we are..." he hesitated.

Me: "don't hesitate I'm listening, carry on."

Jacob: "I've k-killed people before... but don't feel scared around me please! I will never hurt or let anyone harm you."

Me: "I'm not scared." I kissed him, every time I kissed him I felt as if I was flying, I do not care for what he has done or does as long as I'm safe and he's safe that is all that matters.

Jacob: "thank you" he finally spoke.

*2 months later*

Jacob POV;

Jacob: "hola muy bonita you okay?"

Maci: "hola bebe muy bien."

Jacob: "ah my baby is learning!"

Maci: "only little bits love."

Jacob: "you love me?"

Maci: "I really do."

Jacob: "I love you too, I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

when I said that I got up and walked out the door, whilst I had the courage I might as well do it, I took the car to the most expensive jewellery shops I knew of...... [Yes I know, its early on in the relationship but everything will make sense in the next chapter ...] I bought Maci the most beautiful ring I saw it was  the Engagement ring fit for a princess cut with the most beautiful pink diamond in the shop, money wasn't an object for her, I just hope she says yes, this could be the change in my life.. forever.
