Chapter 21

Well previously as you would know Craig had been locked in the basement and yes I had tried to talk to Jacob and no he did not let Craig go. I was not about to ask Jacob repeatedly nor was I about to betray him, he is my husband and I stand by him and his word through everything. It had been two weeks... Of course Jacob gave Craig food and water but he was still very angry, every time he went down there himself I'd hear shouting and loud bangs and thudding, nevertheless I kept to myself and let my man do his business.

"Hey baby what you cooking?" Jacob said coming in as I was preparing dinner, "Well for starters I'm making prawn coctail, dont give me that face I promise you it's nice, main course..." I put on a British posh accent and walked over to him tugging on his blazer, he had been wearing suits a lot recently, "Main course is lasagna," I said turning on my heel and walking back to the counter top, "Then dessert because I know you and the boys eat a lot is that cake you love so much from the store." I said as Jacob came behind me, "mmm! Damn, why my woman gotta be so irresistible? Ima just go get changed and bring Aston down ite baby?" He kissed my cheek and slapped my ass then made his way out of the room and up the stairs. "Yo Macaaay, whats ya cooking for me?" Jaden said walking in and sitting on the counter next to the food, "Oh I see... Got us boys eating healthily is that right?" He said, "That's right Jay now get off my counter before I shove a prawn up your ass-" I was cut off by the loud banging. "Ima fuck his shit up if he don't stop!!" I heard Daniel shout from the games room... It was initially the lounge but since when did the female have a say? Never. I just cooked for these bitches and chilled with my husband and son. Jaden and Daniel had been getting Aston into video games also but I made sure they weren't shooting or killing or none of that, I don't want my sons mind to be corrupted what kind of a mother would that make me? Daniel had been playing basketball with him and now he thinks he's the baby Michael Jordan... I can't deny it is cute even so.

The banging continued and I heard Jacob run down the stairs, "He's a dead man! Waking my fucking son up." Surprisingly Jacob didn't go down into the basement he came into the kitchen with Aston in his arms tugging on Jacobs hair. He was now in black jeans and a Nirvana no sleeved top. "Baby girl is Jaden bothering you because we can beat him up if he is isn't that right Aston?" Jacob said, "Why?" Aston replied, Aston was very almost three years old but he was a slow talker he knew things such as Mom, Dad and Jay Jay but if you wasn't around him you'd probably not understand the rest of his speech. He'd call everyone 'mom' unless it's Jacob or Jaden. Jacob put Aston down and heated up his bottle. "What you sayin' my brother? Wanna take this one?" He spoke to Jaden, "Ite man but if you hear a loud bang know I got him in his head... I'm sick of this shit." Jaden left the room and Jacob gave Aston his bottle then came behind me kissing my neck. "You okay mi amor?" Jacob said swaying side to side, "Muy bien bebe, this food just needs to be cooked then we are cool!" I leant back into Jacob's arms and he wrapped himself around me tighter, "You know you're everything to me right? That I love you more than the thought of being alive?" Jacob said, "I love you Jacob," I said, "I know you do baby, I just like reminding you how much you mean to me... I don't want to let a day go pass without you hearing them words come out of my mouth." He said as Jaden came back into the room, "What did that fool say this time?" Jacob said to Jaden, "Some shit about if he ever makes it out of here alive he's gonna murder you, Maci, Aston and all the boys." Jacob shook his head and took out his phone, "Hey boss... Yeah I'm good you?... Maci and Aston are doing great... Almost three I know he's getting big... Yeah I've got a favor to ask... How'd you know I've got Craig?... Myles and his big mouth, anyway Ima need his body to be picked up... Yeah he's dead right now... Twenty minutes? Ite boss thank you man... Love love." Jacob put down his phone the phone he used for stuff like this was a cheap one with no way of it being tracked because it had no tracking device installed in it, he was smart with his business I give you that, "DANIEL!" He shouted as he ran his fingers through Aston's hair, "Sup bro?" Daniel said walking in rubbing his eyes he had obviously been smoking, "I want you to take Aston outside and play ball with him for half an hour, take Beans out there too... Aston! You gonna play basketball with uncle Dan?" He said picking up Aston and passing him to Daniel. Beans was barking and running around, he knew he was about to go outside.

Daniel went outside with Aston and they began playing and messing around. Jacob sat at the kitchen table and took out a black hand gun from the back of his pants and placed it on the table. I stood behind Jacob and pulled his hair back a little to kiss his head, he took hold of my arms and pulled me closer to him. "You gonna act off with me after I do this?" He said to me, "No of course not, after you do your business Ima feed you, then I'm going to show you how much I love, appreciate and adore you and how much I appreciate you looking after me." I said in a seductive tone, "Mi amor, I've gotta be angry to do something like this... Now I'm just happy and horny," He laughed, "So I've gotta make you angry is that what you're saying?" I asked him, "You can't make me angry though..." He replied. I could make him angry, just that second I had a flashback.

"CRAIG! CRAIG STOP IT PLEASE!" I screamed as Craig continued to slap me, I managed to get out of his grip and ran for the stairs, suddenly I felt two hands push my body as it went crashing down the stairs, I went head first into the wall... I found out later that day the first baby I had ever carried had gone.

"Remember you asked me how I got this scar on my head and I told you I fell down the stairs as a baby?" I said, Jacob nodded as I took a step back from the chair... "I wasn't a baby and I never fell..." I said, Jacob stood up "What are you trying to say to me?" He said as he picked up his gun, "It was four years ago and I was pushed..." Jacob left the room, one hand gripping onto his gun and one fist balled up. A few minutes later after the shouting and the gun shots ended he came back with Jaden and Myles by his side. He embraced me with a tight hug, "No one is ever, ever going to hurt you again I swear of it." I held onto him really tight, "Jaden, Myles could you please get the body removed from the basement, the boss is gonna be here any minute I'd really appreciate that," Jacob said, "Sure thing my brother, you are okay though?" Jaden said sounding weary, "I'll be fine man... But fuck that was the first guy I've intentionally killed out of cold blood, everyone else I was protecting you guys." He said facing them now, "You'll get used to it bro, I find it quite relaxing..." Myles said, "Myles, you're my brother and all but you some different type of crazy, mad love for you guys though I hope you understand that feel me?" Jacob said, "You know we got you." Jaden said as he walked out the room, "Yeah man we got you, all of us... From Pre School to death my brother." He followed Jaden and closed the door.

"You know everything I've done is for you and only you right?" Jacob said to me, I nodded "Good because none of this is for my own personal fun." He said, I nodded again and took the food out of the oven, "I knew you'd act off with me Maci." Jacob said, I could sense the anger within his voice, "I'm not off baby," I said putting the food down to cool, "You're business I just don't have anything to say..." I said as I took a few steps to him and wrapped my arms around his neck, he looked away still angry, "You know I love you, you saved me, when I'm with you I feel safe and wanted... I only have one thing I'd change about our marriage and everything we have together..." Jacob turned his head to me, "What is that?" He gave me a confused look, "I'd change that I met you before Craig and before any girlfriend you'd ever had, I wish I met you first..." He smiled at me and took my arms from around his neck kissing both my hands, "We have each other now, I'm never gonna let you or Aston go."

Just then Jacob's boss came through the door, "Jacob my son how are you? And Maci my darling how are you and Aston well I hope." He said, "We're great thank you, staying for dinner?" I said still holding onto Jacob, "I'd love to but unfortunately I have a little business to take care of so this is just a quick visit with a little notice," He said, "What's up boss?" Jacob said letting go of me and facing him, "Well the body has been removed and all heat is off you and the boys so there is nothing to worry about, the notice is the streets are becoming more and more obvious to cops and we can't have any of you guys caught so I've re-opened the club... I'm going away on business for a little while so Jaden, Myles, Daniel and yourself will be in charge, you of all people know how that shit goes down Jake." He said then shook Jacobs hand giving him four identical keys. "Maci it was nice seeing you, give my love to Aston, Jacob Ima hit you up in a few weeks to see how shit is remember keep it clean, quiet, organised and smart." He left and made his way out the front door, the house was completely clear and Jaden and Myles were walking back out of the games room into the kitchen.

"What did the boss say?" Jaden asked, "Bro lets talk about this later I'm tired, hungry and even more tired." Jacob sat down and went on his phone he didn't use for business. After putting the food on plates I walked over to him and put his food down kissing his cheek. We carried on as normal, like nothing had happened. I had to do so, when he came out of jail we had a rough few days... I had to make my man happy because that was the only way everything will be ok, my marriage, my home, my son, everything.
