Leo stared at the photograph in his paws. His pale hands had been having trouble staying on him in his human form, so he had finally gave up and was using his golden paws to look at the picture. It was his favourite of all and he held it with great estem and love. He was again staring out the window to the castle of Caidoz which twinkled in the distance with beautiful distant glowing lights. It was a sight he always loved to see, ever since he was small.
One day, it would be all his. Not to belong to that Scale or Maiden. No, he deserved the castle. He had trained and fought his entire life, not just in combat either. His father had trained him to be strong, and yet, there were things even the Ram would have never thought of that he, Leo, the son of Aires had done and accomplished.
For one thing, he had charms going for him. He was handsome and well mannered when it came to manipulation. His smile was white and his thick hair wavy and golden. That was his game and sport. The thing his father failed at early on.
His father had been caught in his schemes and had to ruin the entire operation. Sharp claws extended into the frame of the photo which he grasped. His head shot back to the picture and he frantically checked to make sure it was still fine. He breathed a sigh of relief. This picture was his only Savior from himself.
The Lion that roared within him wanted dominance and to tear his small self to pieces. It was the true him and secretly he wanted it, but he knew if he wanted his plans to succeed, it needed to be inside its cage. He shoved his paws back in forcefully, breaking out in a small sweat due to the energy it took from him to restrain it. His hands became back to their human ones. Someone was behind him.
He grabbed one of his throwing knifes and hurled it with immediate accuracy at the heart of Scorpio. He never misses. The knife was spun toward the slender chest and tanned fingers grasped it before it reached him, inches from death.
He examined the knife in interest, nimble and mastered hands scuttling over the blade. Black, slick hair and arched black eyebrows.Scorpio's body was in a movable black attire with a black shirt and black pants. He was covered in weapons and even in the secret base, he was armed. "That was the best throws I've ever seen, Leo. Truly a wonderful murder attempt."
Leo let loose a powerful roar which radiated from his chest and most wanted wish.It sped past his fangs which had never been sawed down, despite what for them was considered proper. The roar echoed in the room and Scorpio cleaned his right ear.
"I completely wanted to hear your nagging right now, nothing else I rather do than listen to your meows." Sharp amber eyes were again cast on the knife. "I think I like this one," he said as he sheathed the small dagger to his shoulder.Leo narrowed his eyes. "That belongs to me, you pathetic bug." He said.
Scorpio stopped stroking the knife lovingly. "What did you just call me, kitten?"
Leo gently placed the photo on the table and then walked down the stairs slowly, Scorpio coming to confront him. They met calmly, the renegade leader looking down at the smaller man. There was a pause.
"I always disliked that pelt of yours, but I see no reason not to hang it on my wall." Scorpio said."Ha, I suppose you would. However, I want to have your stinger on my spurs and use it for the lowest of steeds, a common mule." Leo dodged a swift kick from Scorpio, placing his hand on his sword as he did so and then sliced outwards with the golden blade.
The man dropped to the ground and swung his leg, trying to trip him.
Leo kicked it as it came his way and then crushed it with all his strength.
Scorpio hissed in agony and rose up with a dagger to Leo's jaw.Leo gripped his hand and brought his knee up to the slender man's chest.
Scorpio had then broken out of his grip by yanking his arm out from the point where the thumb was.
Leo rushed to take him down with his sword, but Scorpio turned around and faced him, throwing two daggers into his guts. He laughed and easily slashed them to clatter to the ground in front of him with his giant, golden sword. "Is that all you have to show me?" He asked, jeeringly.
