When you go down Memory Lane
And resurrect so much buried pain
When you flashback to your past
And realize it's not quite your last.
When you think of your fears
And of what you're afraid
And realize you've been through it
With little to gain.
When you realize what's haunted
Your mind for so long
Was never worth it
Yet went on and on.
Years of torment
Added up quick
Just to come up with
A very long list.
Who would've known
That the one thought to be
Strong could turn out
To be weaker than weak.
