I finally got around to drawing Amethyst from Steven Universe! She's currently my 5th favourite Gem, below Lapis, Pearl, Peridot, and Garnet (in that order from 4-1). Even from the first few episodes, I thought Amethyst was pretty cool and funny. Then "On the Run" happened and I gained a whole new respect for her character. Only future episodes will tell if our favourite defective Gem gains any more character development.
