Dear Diary,
As I was sitting in the hospital bed Eddie rung my cell. He asked if I was sick yesterday and today since I wasn't at school. I told him I had a cold. After he offered to come around and keep me company I was quick to decline. Saying I didn't want him to catch my virus. Not that my real sickness was able to be passed to someone else.
After that we talked for a bit longer. My excuse for the croaky voice was that it was my cold. Not that I had previously had pipes shoved down my throat.
As the nurse came into the room I told Eddie I had to go.
I wish I didn't.
Love,
Annabel
