Dear Diary,
It was career day today at school. A day were the senior class takes a trip into the city and visits the university where they held a career expedition.I didn't want to go but mom forced me. I was quite on the bus and choose to sit by myself. As everyone was talking around me I chose to plug my earphones in and drown them out with my music.
When we finally arrived after the four hour trip, I followed behind my class. The place was lively as teens walked around and checked out future career choices.
The day passed by in a blur. I didn't interact with anything. All I did was walk around in a circle ignoring everything around me. Everyone around me.
It wasn't fair. Why did mom make me come? Does she like taunting me with something I'll never have?
Nothing can change the fate I have been given.
Love,
Annabel
