I walked out of the school doors and to my car. "Hey!" I heard a voice behind me, but didn't turn around. Who would want to talk to me? I unlocked the door and slid in. I would've hit him if he hadn't yelled. I slammed on brakes and Dalton grabbed the hood of the car like e could stop it with his bare hands. His thick rimmed glasses nearly fell from his face. "What were you doing? Am I that much I a nascence?" He said pushed his glasses back on his face. I jumped from the car and ran over to him. "Please, tell me I didn't hit you?"
"No, you spotted me just in time."
"Shouldn't you be in your limo or something?" I asked.
"I walk home." He answered.
"Well, would you like a ride? I'm headed to your house anyways."
"Sure." I slid into he driver side and he slid into the passenger side. "So, what are you planning to do today?"
"Whatever you plan to tell me to do."
"Then I guess we're going to do homework then eat dinner and watch tv or we could go swimming. You're not really my servant. You're more like a paid for friend while my parents aren't here."
"So, when they get back my job is over?"
"No, when they get back they will leave again. Your service is until I get too annoying for you."
"Well, I might stay a little longer, but I can't make any promises." That got him laughing.
"Got any good music?"
"Depends on what you like."
"Got any A7X or BVB?"
"You got a great taste in music and yes, it's in the dashboard." He reached in and pulled out a cd. He popped in the nightmare album and we yelled along to "nightmare" and "welcome to the family" until I pulled into the driveway. He unlocked the door and we walked in. Nobody was home and that confused me. I looked at him with my eyebrow arched. "James has the day off and Marie is probably at the store with Trisha." I nodded and we headed upstairs to his room. His room was bigger than two of my living rooms. He pulled out his homework and I pulled out mine. "I'm really good at school work if you need any help." He offered.
"I'm fine." The truth was I wasn't fine. I sucked at school work and the only thing I was good at was Shakespeare. I stared down at the algebra and watched it mock my stupidity. Normally I would toss it aside and change my grade in the computer later, but I couldn't do that in front of him. "You know I think I might need help on a few of them."
"Sure, which ones?"
"All of them." He smiled and chuckled under his breath.
"Let me finish mine and I'll help you." I nodded and he looked back at his. He was done in seconds. He scooted over to me. The more he explained it the more I understood. He was an amazing teacher. "What do you want to be when you get older?" I asked after we'd finished working.
"I've always wanted to be a teacher."
"You would be great at it."
"Thanks. Ready to swim?"
"I don't have a bathing suit."
"I think my mom might have some you can use."
"Will it fit?" I was a very small person, but I was also very chesty.
"Maybe she has a lot of different sizes." He said and we headed towards his parents room. They had a closet that was the size of my room. He pointed me to a wardrobe full of bikinis. "It's all she had if they're too small." He said.
"No, it's fine." He nodded and left. I found a small purple one and pulled it on. I stepped out and Dalton was missing, but I found a small little slip of paper. "I've already changed come meet me at the pool." It said. I crumpled it up and headed out the door trying to remember where the pool was.
