Hey just wanted to say this chapter is here because one of my friends told me that he wanted to know what happened to the mother. So this is for you Austin, but I still can't tell you the killer. <3

I opened my eyes to complete darkness. I stood up and walked over to the small dresser Amanda had given me for a birthday gift. Then I heard it. A faint noise coming from somewhere in the house. Was that Amanda or mommy? I opened the door an kept walking down the hall. Then I heard it again. It sounded like footsteps. I hid in the shadows afraid of what might happen. I heard my long, thick braids hit the wall behind me and I stopped breathing. There was no way this was mommy or Amanda. They should be asleep and to prove my theory right I walked to Amanda's room and creaked open the door. When I looked inside I saw the outline of her body underneath the blankets. I closed the door and let out a deep breath. I was just hearing things. Mommy was laying on her small couch hidden behind Amanda's bed and I was up for nothing. "I don't wanna hear a peep out of you." A gruff mans voice said from the living room. That couldn't be Lucas, Amanda's husband, because he was in Washington and the sound of the voice was too deep. I might've been 11, but I wasn't stupid. I knew more than the average 11 year old should and I knew who's voice that was. I ran and hid behind the wall and peered into the living room. I couldn't see much, but there was a man in a black hood holding my mother's arms down with his knees. I put my small hand over my mouth to stifle a scream. "Now, you're going to apologize for what you did to me three years ago." Her eyes darted to me and a tear slipped down her cheek. She turned back to him.

"Fuck you." She whispered. Then I heard the loud sound of flesh against flesh. He slapped her as hard as he could. I couldn't watch this anymore I had to do something. I ran to Amanda's bedroom and shook her. "Mandy!" I said in a hushed scream. She didn't respond at all. I shook her again and saw a deep gash in her neck. "No!" I covered my mouth and grabbed the phone. It rang a few times. "911. What's your emergency?" The woman said.

"Please help, he's here. He killed my friend and now he's here for me and mommy." I said and hung up. I had to see if she was still alright. I ran back to the living room and saw he was still talking to mommy. "Now it's time to put an end to this." I saw something gleaming in his hand. "This went through Amanda's neck like butter. I wonder how it will go through yours and Tessa's?"

"No! Don't you dare!" she screamed at him. I watched the knife slice through my mothers neck. "No!!!" I screamed. He stood up from her and headed to me. "You should back away. I called the cops. Get away from me!" His eyes widened like he didn't expect anyone to call the police. He ran from the house and I ran to my mother and held her head. "Mommy!" I screamed. The blood ran all over me and my pretty white gown turned red. She stared back at me with dead eyes. I could see where her cheeks were stained with tears. Just then the door burst open. "This is the police. Freeze!" I couldn't stop crying.

"Tess!" I heard the familiar British accent and I reached for him. "Tanya!" He yelled and dropped to his knees in front of us. "We're going to get you out of here and to your dad." He said to me.

"I'm sorry, Morgan, but we can't do that. There is a dead body and she has blood all over her." Another cop said.

"No, what about Amanda. She's in the back room." I said. A round cop with white hair came from the hallway.

"Sorry, but there isn't even blood back here." Then I looked back down at my mom. He face morphed into a piercing stare and a bright smile. I screamed at the top of my lungs.
