The next day everybody in Overtown Park stared school. I went to private school and didn't really know when I started. Leigh was transferring from the next district over and so was Chris.

That whole day was chill. First we went over Chris house to watch 'Rise of the Planets of the Apes' then breaked for naps. Then we went over Leigh's house and watched YouTube videos until everyone got out of school.

Me and Chris where strictly friends. That's it and that's all.

When the middle school bus pulled up and I seen an old friend Marie get off. Marie had been my Bestfriend since the 4th grade. Apparently she had just moved in across the street.

As we talked I learned that Marie was single. Not like her. I knew she was lonely cause I knew her. Chris was single too. I was gone hook them up.

I took Marie up to Chris's house to introduce her to everyone since she was new. Lashay, Sentra and a few other people where already there. They got to know one another.

"I'm thirsty" Marie wined. "Well yo house down the street. Lets go." We got up and walked two houses down to her house, got water and was on our way back.

I was too busy talking shit to this boy who lived on 53rd named Bryan to notice the wasp nest. Glancing down I noticed a little bug on my shin. Before I could even react it stung me. "OH SHIT!" I squealed. That stuff stung bad. Everybody was too busy laughing.

My shin hurted! I ran in to call my daddy, like he was going to do anything. He told me to put peroxide on it so I did.

By the time I got back outside everybody else was down at Marie house. She was making friends already.

As soon as I came over there everybody burst out into laughter mocking me and stuff. I had to admit it was funny.

Tyrell was down here too. Him and Chris was battling over Marie. Marie was bout 5'2, brown hair that stopped at her shoulders, ass and titties was on point. Not to be gay but she was a package. Even though she had a big forehead and braces, boys

The sight was funny as hell to me so I just let it roll. When I looked up I seen Myesha up the street so I went home.

"Girl guess who live down the street?" "Who?" "Marie!" "Yo Bestfriend Marie?" "Yup!"

Me and Myesha joined Leigh, Delshawn and Tyler on they porch.

I looked up. Guess who it was? D'Ron. Just to cheesing. Even though I didn't wanna pull what we have, or had into the school year I might not be able to help it cause he was looking fine as fuck for his first day.

D'Ron had on a baby blue Polo with small pink and yellow stripes and light green Polo sign, tan cargos, the original Sperrys and Nike socks. His hair was cut and his lips was just even more out there cause his fro was gone. Damn he was fine.

Them pictures and Alexa still made me mad but the way he was looking I brushed that shit off quick !

He came over and sat in a chair. The one next to mines. "Wassup" . Damn, he was talking to me. "Hey D'Ron"

Just then everybody sitting on the porch, got up and left. Except Leigh. I don't think she got the signal.

It was awkward, I had to admit that. It was awkward as hell. The tempature was still up that day because it was only the 16th of August. That's why I only had on an all white spaghetti strap t-shirt you know like the kind you wear under clothes, some navy blue short shorts, a pearl necklace, and pearl earrings. My hair was in a wrap and it was long a hell.
