My First Day Of Class

"LAYLAAAAAAAAA WAKE UP! RISE AND SHINE DUMPLING ! YOU DON'T WANT TO BE LATE FOR YOUR FIRST DAY OF CLASS!" I turned and covered my ears with the throw pillows around me. Must she always be such a morning person, I began to move my legs off the bed and shivered as my feet touched the freezing cold floor. I walked towards my closet to find something to wear, something that screams I'm not a nerd but I'm not a bad kid. College, what a great way to live life always in school, NOT! But I love Sarah Lee my roommate, my best friend, and my caretaker and she wants only what's "best" for me and of course college was the answer.

When I finally picked something to wear, I made my way into the bathroom, brushed my teeth and washed my face. Then a hot runny liquid made it's way down to my bottom lip. That's when I noticed a trickle of blood sliding from my lower lip, I must have bit myself in my sleep again. This wouldn't be the first time it's happened to me, I usually do this 5 times out of the week. I cleaned myself up and fixed my hair before stepping out of the bathroom. I then began to descend down the stairs. "SARAH LEE ! I AM READY TO GO!" I yelled while looking around for Sarah. She was no where to be found. I walked into the kitchen and POP! The sound of a small confetti canon invaded my ears. Inside the kitchen, there were balloons every where and a huge banner that read"Congratulations! You're Now Officially a College woman!" Sarah Lee really means the world to me, she was standing next to a 2 tier cake covered in flour. "You really are an amazing person Lee-Lee what on earth would I do without you." I said while hugging her with a great sense of passion and love. "Awe my sweet little baby is off to college ! You're no longer a baby.." Her eyes began to glisten due to tears swelling up and getting ready to trickle down her perfectly imperfectly oval shaped face. I pulled her close to me and embraced her while running my fingers through her blonde beach waves."But I will always be your baby sister.. No matter what, now stop crying cause you know then I'm going to cry and I have to look good cause I don't want to be known as clown face for the rest of my 4 years" I paused, ".. Lee-Lee are you ready to go?" I said as I looked into her shiney eyes. She nodded "yes."  I then gesture down to her boxer shorts and tank top. "I'm taking you, not getting out the car so hurry outside now." She said while motioning me to exit the house. I laughed as I left the house and entered the car waiting for Lee-Lee to step outside. Within the blink of an eye, my bottom lip was bleeding again but this time I didn't bite my lip. "You're soon going to meet your doom." I heard a whisper in my left ear, I jumped up and looked to my left- No one here. I then looked into the rearview mirror to also see no one there. I shook my head and wiped away the blood with some napkins that were in the glove department. Just as I had finished cleaning the blood, Lee-Lee hopped in the car "I'm telling you! You're going to meet the man of your dreams and he's becoming closer and closer." She said while starting up the car and rearing us to leave the driveway. We then drove off on the road. "I still can't believe after all these years you still believe in the superstitious shit. I mean come on Lee-Lee you are a women of science and philosophy" I said while looking at her dashboard. Sarah Lee is the smartest women when it comes to science. She is a professor with a PHD in science and 2 Masters, one in philosophy, the other in Psychology. Best thing about her being a professor is that she teaches at the school I am now attending. But for some odd reason she took today off but she wouldn't tell me why. Just before I knew it, the school was right in front of me. Just Fucking Great! I wasn't expecting a huge building but you know what they say "Expect the unexpected!" And boy were they right. As I went to turn my head I saw that Lee-Lee had changed in a split second- She changed into a pencil skirt and frilly blouse. "What happened to I'm just dropping you off?" I asked while giving her the eyebrow arch "Well I work here I can't have my students thinking that I'm a bum when I'm home." She says while fixing her makeup "Mhm students? Or that handsome Mr. Lucian?" I said as I winked at her already taking a step out the car. "You're so dead when we get home!" Lee-Lee said as she stepped out and locked her car. "Welcome to my second home!" She yelled and looked to make sure no one saw her. "I will be taking you to the office to get your schedule made and processed, follow me." She said while walking at a brisk pace. I followed her to this huge room with a bunch of people and papers. "Good morning Mich, I need you to look up Layla in the system for me and make her schedule right at this moment sweetie." Lee-Lee said as the boy name Mich looked at her with awe. "No problem Ms. Topaz,"Mich did as she said. "Here you go" he said while handing the paper over to her shakingly. "Thank you dear" she said blowing him a kiss, "I will only show you to your first class and then I am gone so try not to get lost. Make a friend who can help you okay sweetie" Lee-Lee said while looking over her shoulder, I simply nodded and continued to follow her. I read a sign next to a door of my first class  that read Professor Lucian, English I smirked and pretended I didn't notice. As I stepped into the room I saw only a couple of students seated in the front of class. "Well here you go dear, good luck." Lee-Lee said, she then walked up the stairs while swaying her hips to Professor Lucian's liking. His eyes followed her every move. Professor Lucian then turned his attention to the class "Okay class within 10 minutes English will begin. Welcome to the first day back." He said in a low sensual tone. God I like it here already.
