It's was about 3 month since somebody tried taking Kali when she was taken again. Taken by the same guy. This time it happened when she was playing on the playground. I was watching her when a guy ran up and grabbed her. I started running after him, but he got into a get-away car. I pulled out my iPhone and scanned the license plate. I called the cops. They searched and searched for that license plate number, but found nothing.
Later that night, I got a text saying that if I ever wanted to see Kali again, I would have to give the guy 1 million dollars. He also said that if I pulled a fast one on him, he would kill her and me! A billion things were running through my mind right Then. Like how am I gonna get 1 million dollars. But then I remembered that I can track a persons phone from a text. I pulled open the map app and started tracking. I saw that they were headed to Palm Springs, so I got in my car and started driving.
