~Vanoss POV~
As his chest rose up and fell and soft snore came from my him I snuggled close to him. He was so warm and I slowly began to go to sleep. Creak. I shot up and saw the once closed door wide open. I reached over and grabbed a fluffy pillow as I wiggled out of his right grip. Once free I placed a pillow in his arms.
"Anna are you here," I whispered into the room.
"Yeah and it's time to go," she said stepping out of the shadows.
"No I'm staying here."
"Evan it's time to go," she said sadly. I looked down and walked over to her "okay let's get going."
"That's the spirit," she chirped.
"So how are leaving," I questioned her. She just smiled and walked over to the window. I opened the window for her and a cold gust of wind slept into the room. I shivered slightly and looked at the empty yard. Anna hopped up on the sill and whistled a small song. A similar song was heard off in the distance.
"She's here," Anna squealed. I looked around and finally saw a female figure emerge from the woods with an extremely horrible built ladder.
"Don't worry Evan the ladder is safe. I use it all the time," she said reassuring me as if she read my mind. I nodded and looked back into the room and saw him still clutching the pillow like a teddy bear. I smiled at his cuteness and wished to be cuddling with him.
"You're going to go down the ladder first," Anna said breaking me away from my thoughts.
"Okay," I took a deep breath "but if this falls apart I will never forgive you." She giggled continued to look at the night sky. I looked over at my sleeping baby one last time before I climbed down the flimsy ladder. It creaked with each step and swayed slightly with the breeze. Finally I reached the ground and I started to hop around out of pure joy.
"Someone's full of energy," said a female voice softer than Anna's. I turned around and saw a slightly taller female with blonde hair, green eyes, and a big white smile. She outstretched an arm "hello I'm Victoria." I shook her hand "nice to meet you. I'm Evan."
"We're running out of time you weirdos," yelled Anna who was halfway to the woods.
"Well let's get going," Victoria said before taking off. I rolled my eyes and ran to catch up to the girls. I struggled to catch up with them. Once I managed to they stood there at the edge of the woods and on the other side was a small little town. Only a few lights glowed in there and nothing stirred.
"Took you long enough," teased Anna.
"Maybe if you slowed down I could catch up to you guys."
"Well if you would run faster you would catch up to us," huffed Anna.
"You two shut up now and you're wasting so much time arguing," yelled Victoria.
"She's right plus your probably tired Evan," Anna said calmly. I nodded and yawned.
"Alright now that this straighted out let's get a move on," said Vitoria with happiness. We walked into the town quietly until we reached a light blue two story house that had a white welcoming door. Leading to the door was red patterned stones and daisy's lined the walkway.
"This is beautiful," I said in awe at the house.
"Why thank you Evan," Vitoria whispered.
"Evan I have to go bye," Anna said as she hugged me.
"Before you go can I ask for a huge favor Anna?" She nodded and let me go. "Please give Mr. Fluffy to Johnathan and come visit," I asked with a hint of sadness when I said his name.
"Sure and I will try my best big brother," she said with a smile.
"Let's go Victoria," Anna said energetically.
"I'll catch up with you after I show Evan to his new room." Anna nodded and began walking away. I felt a soft hand tug me into the house.
"I can follow you Victoria," I whispered.
"Oh sorry, force of habit," she said as she let go of my hand.
"It's fine," I said as I followed her up a flight of stairs. She walked over to an open room with only a bed and dresser.
"Make yourself at home," she said before walking away.
"Thanks Victoria," I said before she disappeared down the stairs. I walked into the almost barren room and flopped onto the bed. Instantly my eyes closed shut I fell into a deep sleep.
~Timeskip 5 Years Later~
I woke up and stared up at the ceiling until I heard a knock at the door telling me to get up and go to work. Same thing as always wake up early then wait, go to work, come home and take a shower then sleep. I sighed and then a soft knock at the door echoed the room. I stretched and hopped out of bed changing into my work uniform. It was a dull grey accompanied by a white hard hat and leather goggles. I slipped it on and carried the hard hat with it's strap and the googles around my neck. I opened my bedroom door and tromped down the stairs.
"Good morning to you Evan," Victoria teased. I chuckled and grabbed my coffee mug and sipped it.
"Evan, I finally managed to talk to your sister." I raised my eyebrow and set down the mug.
