~Vanoss POV~

"She wasn't in the best shape when I visited her. Bruises on every inch of skin I could see. Countless scars from knife wounds that someone else did. Her hair is shorter than yours and clothes are worn," she said with her voice cracking a few times.

"Victoria you don't have to go on," I said shifting against the wall.

"No I have too," she said with sadness.

"No you don't," I argued back.

"You're leaving and who knows when or if you're coming back."

"Fine but let me tell you why I chose the name I did."

"But she already told me," I cut her off and finished her sentence.
"The lie. Now here's the honest truth. When I was little I was closer to my mother than my father. She taught me things that were banned from here, illegal in this huge continent , and most importantly the forgotten."

"The forgotten?"

"Yes it means what you are exactly thinking about. Anyways my mom taught me about my forgotten great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather. He was infamous on a platform I forget the name of it but he had two love rivals. A male and female. His male lover lost to the female rival causing him to slip into a deep depression. His female lover stole his heart and they had two children together. One day him and her got into a huge fight. He left for the only safe place his male lovers place. Sadly he never made it to his destination and no body was ever found."

"How does this relate to your Vanoss name?"

"Well first off he looks exactly like me and second the names I have are his. Evan being his real name and his second name he preferred was Vanoss," I said as I slid down the wall and sat on the cold floor.

"Oh well that was completely different from what she told me," she stated.

"I know, now I've got to go," I said while getting up.

"Wait but what about the rest like your mom and past," she said looking up at me.

"I'll write to you of course."

"Stay for a few more minutes, please," she pleaded.

"No I can't but I'll be back before the first star shines," I said with a smile.

"Okay bye Evan," she chirped. I waved goodbye and skipped out if the house and over to Wildcat's home. The walk was lonely except for the few flies that circled over me then began looking for something else to eat. Finally his house came into view I couldn't help but sigh in relief. Slowly I walked up the stairs that groaned each step I took on them. I reached the door and just as I about to knock the door swung open. Cold air hit me and a puffy red eyed Wildcat stood at the door.

"Where's Mini," he yelled with his voice cracking.

"I thought he would be with you," I said while looking into a dark abyss of his room.

"No he isn't. He left yesterday to help you while you where in the hospital," he said with each word dripping venom.

"He went to get a water bottle but never came back."

"You never bothered looking for him," he said bawling his fist up.

"I thought he went back to his boyfriend," I snarled.

"Oh now I'm his boyfriend because I care about him," he said balling his fists up tighter making them turn a ghostly white.

"Oh come on it's not that. You both like each each other but you're to scared to admit that you like him," I said with a smirk. He finally snapped and swung his fist. I dunked and swung at his gut making direct contact. He groaned in pain and stumbled backwards.

"Is that all you got," he yelled.

"Yes, goodbye," I yelled at him and began to walk down the stairs.

"Really you just quit like that!"

I spun around and yelled "you're my friend!" His glare softened to a frown."I know you're angry about Minis recent disappearance but is this what he would want to happen. Fights because you're angry. No, he would want us to look for him," I said calmly.

"You're right. Sorry Vanoss."

"It's fine but sorry for punching you."

"That was nothing," he said with a grin forming.

"Well can I come on in or can I stay on these stairs?"

"Come on in," he said with a chuckle. He stood up and slightly limped inside. I followed him inside the dark house. I bumped into some shoes, the wall a few times, and kicked a small table leg.

"Wildcat turn on your lights," I yelled then ran straight into the wall.

"What, oh yeah hold on a minute," he yelled from a room that I probably walked right by. Slowly light bulbs flickered on.

"I'm guessing you walked down my whole hall just come back. I'll be in the third room," he yelled again.

"Okay," I yelled back. I slowly walked down looking at what he had hanging on the the walls. Two hand painted white tigers with bright sapphire blue eyes hung across each other. On the right side of the hallway hung other art that Wildcat had made. But the left side is where all the pictures of him hung. Four of them were just him and Mini smiling away. About six of them was us as a group and two other was our seasons just Summer and freezing Winter. Then I saw a small table with three framed photos. I walked over to it two small pictures of us as a group was on the outside. In the middle there stood a silver frame with metal hearts around it and the glass was shattered. Inside the frame was a picture of him and Mini making a heart with there hands smiling. I mentally awed and began walking again. Until I saw a huge indent in the wall and two drops of blood.
