I grabbed Dallas an ice pack and then went outside, the sun was shining and the birds were chirping. I heard the screen door open and close again and felt someone wrap their arms around my waist. "If this isn't Soda I'll slap you in the face." He chuckled, "Lucky for me it is." I turned to face him, "Soda...I love you." I bit my lip waiting to see what he'd say. When he didn't respond my eyes glazed and I looked up at him. "Those were the most beautiful words I've ever heard in my life, I love you Lela Winston." I grinned and kissed his lips softly. "I-I er...want to show you something." He stuttered. I laughed and hopped on his back. He walked me to a spot right next to the park with beautiful lights decorating the trees. The sky was pink and the clouds looked like cotton candy. There were pink daisies on the ground spelling out, I love you, Lela. "Aw! Soda it's beautiful!" I squealed. He pulled a bottle of Pepsi out of his jacket. I looked at him puzzled, he also pulled out to straws, a pink and blue one. I smiled still confused, he placed the straws in the bottle and we each drank some, I didn't reject it since it was a really hot day for it being November. When all the Pepsi was gone he said, "Look in the bottle." Grinning like crazy. I peeked inside and saw...a ring?! I hit the back of the bottle and the ring fell into my hand. Soda gently took it and got down on one knee, "Lela Grace Winston, I love you with all my heart, your my stars my moon my everything and complete my heart, I'll always love and take care of you no matter what...will you marry me?" He asked. I smiled the biggest smile I've ever worn and said, "Yes!" Tackling him in a hug. The gang all jumped out from their hiding spot behind the trees and started cheering and cat calling. Dallas winked at me and smirked. I smirked back and wrapped my arms around Soda's neck giving him a passionate kiss, I finally live lived happily ever after!
