There was a massive, roaring thunderstorm one night when your boyfriend, y/fave/n, was staying over. He was in the other room, sleeping in the spare bedroom but you couldn't sleep.
You put your bed side light on and reached for your phone, unlocking it and texting the one person you needed. Your light switched off automatically, there was a power cut but you hate the dark.
Y/N- are you awake? :/ xx
Y/fave/n- yeah, can't sleep ahaha, come in here with me ;) xx
You didn't need asking twice. You grabbed your phone, putting the torch on and tip toeing out of your bedroom cautiously.
You hurried into the space in his bed, cuddling up to him and wrapping yourself around him. Your body instantly relaxed as he wrapped his arms around you, holding you tightly and whispering soothing (or dirty- idk whatever calms you;) ) things in your ear.
You rested your head on his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat. He kissed your head, soothing you. You remained silent, focussing on listening to his heartbeat and his deep, raspy voice.
"It's ok baby girl, I've got you." He mumbled into your ear.
"I hate this. I hate the dark." You panicked as another clap of thunder sounded nearby. The room lit up as a spark of lightening lit up outside the window shortly after the thunder.
"You're safe with me." He whispered, getting his earphones and putting some music on for you both. You both had an ear phone each and remained in each others arms all night. You soon fell asleep together.
