Road Trip With The Twins (pt2)

You woke up to feel the harsh rays from the sun flooding onto your body. You remembered where you were; in a sleeping bag on the beach. Grayson was still asleep but Ethan was awake and playing on his phone.

"Morning Y/N." He mumbled, not looking up from his phone.

"Morning Eth. Should we wake him up?" You giggled.

"Hmmm I guess we probably should move out before people start arriving here for the day."

You and Ethan decided to leap onto Grayson to wake him up. He groggily accepted the wake up call and said a quick 'good morning'.

"It's 10am. I know it's early but people will be arriving here soon so let's get a move on guys." Ethan spoke.

Packing up, you all piled into the car to head to your next destination. You looked in your notebook to see that it said "Lake" and told Ethan and Grayson to give you directions as you drove.

After an hour and a half of driving, you eventually arrived at a beautiful lake surrounded by lush greenery, bright flowers and tall trees. The trees opened up to reveal a huge lake in the middle. There was no one else there. Silence.

"This is just how I remember it!" Grayson smiled.

"It's so pretty!" You grinned, taking a photo of it. "So we are staying here for the day and then sleeping in the tent by the water over there?" You asked, confirming what you thought was the plan.

"Well, that was the plan but we're actually really close to our home in New Jersey so if you'd like, do you want to come back to NJ with us tonight? We can spend tomorrow at our house before setting off again, it's just that Mum, Dad and Cam want to see us whilst Cam is home from college." Ethan said.

"Oh cool, yeah that's fine by me!" You exclaimed.

"So who's up for skinny dipping?" Grayson smirked, undressing.

"I don't think so." You blushed.

"Come on." Ethan joined in.

"Nope. Absolutely not." You stated boldly.

"It's fun. It's liberating." Grayson winked.

"No. You two can but I'm not."

Grayson and Ethan had stripped down to their boxers and were running into the lake. Looking out into the horizon, you saw some fish leaping out of the water and hiding again.

"Just come in Y/N!" The twins called back.

"I haven't got my bikini on."

"Please?" They pleaded and without further argument, you decided to shut them up and undressed to your underwear. You sprinted into the lake, a bit embarrassed.

It was cold.

"Wow this is cold!" You screamed a little.

"Come here." Ethan motioned with his finger for you to move next to him. You did as he said. Grayson was watching you both. Ethan wrapped you into a big hug and you instantly eased, feeling the warmth of his body.

"The water is so much warmer here." You said.

"That's because I peed." Ethan smirked.

"You better be joking Ethan..." You questioned suspiciously.

"No?" He furrowed his eyebrows. "Doesn't everyone pee in water? No I'm kidding - it's because I'm stood in the sun." He winked.

Grayson walked over to you both and lifted you up into the air. You felt like you were flying: weightless. He then threw you back into the water, landing with a splash.

There was a rope swing and Ethan decided to take the plunge first to go onto it. He pushed himself off, flew into the water and then bobbed back up to the surface. Grayson copied him. Then they asked you to do it.

"No, I don't like stuff like that. I don't like it when I can't see the bottom in water." You mumbled.

"Not even if I stay at the bottom for when you jump? I'll catch you- you'll be safe." Grayson suggested.

"We'll be at the bottom." Ethan continued.

"I don't know. I don't like it..."

"How do you know if you've never done this?" Grayson asked.

"I just do."

"Please try it Y/N. If you don't like it then you don't have to do it again but what if you do love it?" Ethan smiled warmly.

"Promise me you'll be there at the bottom?" You asked nervously.

"We promise." Both boys said and stood under the swing.

Finally, you jumped onto the swing and flew through the air, landing with a splash. You instantly came back up to the surface and Ethan and Grayson were both there to hold you hand.

"Well...?" Grayson asked, eager to hear what you thought.

"That was" you coughed, "so cool!"

After a fun action filled day, you headed to New Jersey.

"It's lovely to see you again Y/N." Mr and Mrs Dolan said, greeting you.

"You too. Thank you for having me to stay." You smiled.

"Anytime sweetie. Are you ok to sleep in the spare room?" Mrs Dolan asked.

"Of course, that's lovely. Thank you."

You went up to your room, put your bags down and laid on the bed.
