You'd spent so long revising because it's your GCSEs in a few months. You hadn't seen much of Ethan because of this and you hadn't spoken to him a lot out of school. You decided to text him.

Y/N- Want to do something? X
E- I'm revising ATM :( x
Y/N- I'll come over and revise with you then :) x
E- Ok, but seriously we have to revise. Please don't distract me haha x
Y/N- Yup, I'll bring my chemistry and some maths x

You gathered some work and your phone and put them in your leopard print rucksack and headed to Ethan's. He only lived a few houses away. Cameron opened the door as soon as you knocked.

"Ethan's upstairs in his room." She smiled.

"Thanks Cam." You replied and made your way upstairs.

"Hey babe." You grinned when you entered his room.

"Hi." He mumbled, not looking up from his work. You didn't take it personally because you knew he was busy. You sat down next to him and pulled out your work, starting with some maths equations.

"What are you revising?" You said.

No answer.

"I hate this, I'm no good at it." You sighed.

No answer.

You continued to look at the paper, trying to figure out the answers in your head. You whispered along to yourself as you counted. You looked at Ethan to see he was revising Geography - you hadn't done that yet. Then your phone began to ring.

"Shit, I thought it was on silent." You cursed. You could tell Ethan wasn't amused, you saw him tighten up next to you.

"Y/N, why didn't you put it on silent?" He spoke, his voice raised.

"I thought it was."

"Well obviously not. Just answer it downstairs." He snapped.

"I'm not going downstairs just to answer a call from my mum." You bit back.

"Well go out my room and shut the door then!"

You did as he said and went into Grayson's room for a little after answering the phone.

"Hey y/n." Grayson greeted you.

"Hey, sorry, do you mind if I come in?"

"No, of course you can. What's up?"

"Ethan got annoyed with me because my phone rung whilst we were revising. I think he got really irritated with me because he stopped talking after saying hi..." You shrugged and sighed a little. It hurt knowing he showed lack of interest after not seeing each other as much or talking as much.

"Has he apologised?"

"Nope." You said, popping the p.

"Just go back in there and pick up all your stuff as though you're leaving."

"Why?"

"Trust me, I know how he works."

"But surely then I have to leave?"

"Nope, it won't take that long."

You did as Grayson said and walked back into Ethan's room, picking up all your books and stationary. You started to pile them all in your bag.

"Y/N, what are you doing?" Ethan interrupted you. Grayson was right.

"Going home." You said bluntly.

"Why?"

"Because I don't want to be a distraction to you and cause shit. Sorry for any inconvenience." You said, continuing to put everything in your bag.

"Babe, I'm sorry. I'm just really stressed, my first exam is in two weeks and I just really want good grades." He sighed. You looked up at him to see sadness in his eyes. You'd never seen him this stressed.

"You didn't have to take it out on me though. All I wanted to do was see you." You spoke.

"I know I shouldn't have done. I wish I paid you more attention when you came in. I regret being so arrogant and rude. I'm really sorry y/n."

"It's fine Eth. I'll speak to you later, get your revision done." You half smiled and went to open his door.

"Don't go. Please stay y/n." He said and stood up, closing the door. "I could do with a break from revision really." He winked.
