So…Sam and Brit did their homework. They explained how two meteorites, blending together, vanished in the night sky over northwestern Ohio in March of ‘85. It was sighted nine months before Anna and Adam were born in that same part of Ohio. Then there were two other meteors, blending together, over Kentucky…it may have been their graces. Then, they told us how six months after Adam and Anna fell, in an empty field outside the town of Union, Kentucky, there was a full-grown oak tree. Said, it looks like a century old at least…and Anna and Adam became confident that it was their graces. So, that’s where we headed.
We got to the field and Adam, Anna, Brit and I got out of the truck as Ruby, Sam and Dean got out of the Impala and we saw the tree…it was beautiful to be honest. Adam and Anna could feel how their graces touched down here but they weren’t there anymore…someone took them. Night fell and we all got to a nearby abandoned stable to talk.
“We still had the hex bags. I say we head back to the panic room” Dean said. “What, forever?” Ruby said, sarcastically.
“I'm just thinking out loud!”
“Oh, you call that thinking?”
“Hey! hey, hey, hey. Stop it” Sam said. “Yea, cut it out, guys” Brit added lightly.
“Anna and Adam’s graces are gone. You understand? They can't angel up. They can't protect us. We can't fight heaven and hell. One side maybe, but not both. Not at once”
“Um...guys? The angels are talking again” Adam spoke. “What are they saying?” Sam asked.
“It's weird...like a recording...a loop. It says, ‘Dean Winchester and Melissa Stern gives us Anna and Adam by midnight, or…’” Anna started.
“Or what?” I asked.
“Or we hurl him back to damnation…”
“And she’ll be joining him” Adam finished.
My eyes widened as I felt my chest tighten up and everyone fell silent. “Anna, Adam…do you know of any weapon that works on an angel?” Brit asked.
“To what? To kill them?” Anna asked and both Brit and Sam nodded. “Nothing we could get to...not right now” Adam answered.
“Okay, wait, wait. I say we call Bobby. We get him back from hedonism” Dean said. “Dean, what's he gonna tell us that we don't already know?” Sam stressed a little.
“I don't know, but we got to think of something!”
I felt his eyes on me…but I couldn’t process much at the moment…I just got threatened to be thrown in Hell.

I was back in the bed of my truck, staring up at the stars, laying on the blanket. “So, is this a normal thing you do or something? You always just lay there by yourself, staring up at the stars?” Adam asked as he jumped up on the tire to look in at me.
“Not usually…” I started and he climbed in to lay beside me so we were doing the same thing that we did last night. “But, lately…I’ve just liked to stare up at them…it’s something I used to do with my dad” I said and he nodded as he just looked up at them with me.
“Are you holding up okay?” I broke the silence. “Yea…” he said but I could tell he was lying.
“And how about Anna?”
“She’s trying…we’re a little…scared, I guess. I wanted to thank you”
“For what”
“You guys didn’t have to help us…”
“Please don’t give me a thanks for trying speech. Participation certificates suck ass”
