I head over to Mistpaw, wishing I hadn't. "Hi. I was wondering if you needed help with anything." I meow. She looks me over like i'm something rotten. "Why would I ever need your help? Your useless to me. Go away." She snarls. "Well, Dropstar told me to be helpful today." She ignores me. I am so fed up with her. I get close to her face. I bare my teeth into a snarl just as she did. " Hey, I am talking to you. You heard what I said the other day. I promised to be loyal to the clan. The fact that you doubt that is mouse brained." I growl lowly. She gets close to my face, her blue eyes full with hatred. "I have been taught never to trust a kittypet. If it was up to me, I would have sent you home as soon as I sniffed your wretched scent." She glares into my eyes, staring down deep into my soul. My fur bristles.

I shove her hard, almost knocking her over. "Maybe you should learn to trust me! I am not a dog! I am a she-cat just like you are! You have your opinions and I have mine. Maybe you should think twice about what you were taught, and live your own life for what you stand and believe in." I growl slowly.

She shoves me back. I stumble over. "You want to tell me how to live my life? You don't even know what i've been through! You will never understand!!" She yowls and jumps on me, knocking the the wind out of my lungs. Her weight is almost unbearable. I don't have anytime to react. My belly is exposed. I need to move before she gets me. Thinking fast, I move from under her. She isn't as strong as she looks. She stumbles over. Before she gets up I pin her down.

"Now Mistpaw, I think I have won this little cat fight. Back down and leave me alone and I will do so to you." I hiss in her face. She finally gives in and nods. I step off of her and she gets up, and runs off to Lightningpaw. I look up and see every one looking at me in shock. Some are even smiling.

"Go back to what you were doing everyone, we settled things out. Sorry to bother you all." I meow loudly. I walk over and lay under some shade, sort of watching over the clan. I feel like the leader but i'm not even close. I need to remember i'm only an apprentice. I shouldn't be thinking about that stuff now. Mistpaw's words come back to me. You don't know what I've been through! You will never understand!! What does that mean?

That night, I had a very strange and terrifying dream. I couldn't understand it, I didn't know what it meant. I am in a very misty, cloudy, bright place. I believe that this is Starclan. Am I dead? A she-cat appears. I don't recognize her, but what she tells me is what gets me the most. Or what she were going to tell me. She fades away before she even begun to start. I try to call out, but once again, I can't speak.
