[WONWOO]

"Wanna go up?" Mingyu said as he tapped me on my shoulder.
"Where?" I asked, confusion written all over my face. He rolled his eyes and snickered.
"To the heavens." He joked. This time, I rolled my eyes and slapped him playfully on his arms.
"Where?" I asked again.
"To the roof, duh." He did not wait for me to answer. He just grabbed my hand and led me to the ladder leading up to the roof.
"Are you sure it's safe up there?" I asked on the way.
He stopped walking for a moment and looked back at me. He smiled and said, "It's always safe when you're with me." He chuckled and continued to walk.
"Or vice versa." I added as he climbed the ladder.

It's my time to climb when I noticed how unstable the ladder is. I started to doubt this idea. Mingyu noticed me cowering below as he is already on the roof.

"What's wrong? Can't climb alone? Want me to carry you?" He jokingly said. I pouted.
"It's so unstable." I said while pointing at the ladder. He sighed.
"What would you do without me, Jeon Wonwoo." He muttered under his breath and smiled at me.
"You will always be with me." I said as a matter of fact.
"Right." He agreed and we both laughed.
"C'mon. Don't you trust me?" He said as he reached out his hands.
"I trust you but there are times when you're just crazy." I said while shaking my head remembering the time when we almost got killed because of him, but that's another story.
"Yeah. Crazy. Crazy about you." He snickered and reached out his hands more. I felt flustered but I just cracked a grin.
I grabbed his hand and mustered all the courage to climb the ladder.

We sat down beside each other at the center of the roof.

"The night sky is so beautiful." I commented as I lied down.
"Yeah." He agreed and lied down after me too.

We fell silent for a couple of minutes. We just laid there side by side observing the night sky, the twinkling stars, the big moon, and how perfect everything is placed up there.

"Hey..." I called as I looked at Mingyu who is looking up to the sky with a smile on his face.
"Yeah?" He said, still looking up.
"What are we?" I asked as I continued to stare at his face. He looked at me. We stared at each other. It's like he's wondering about the same thing too. He paused for a few seconds before answering. He smiled.
"We are what we are, Wonwoo. We are us." He held my hand and with that, I felt contentment. I smiled as I diverted my sight back to the sky.

We fell silent again.

"If I were to compare us to something... It would be the night sky." He said squeezing my hand. I looked at him with wonder.
"Why?" I asked tilting my head.
"I'm the stars and the moon... And you're the sky." He said. I nodded as I began to see what he's saying.
"Yeah, because you light me up on my darkest days." I agreed and laughed because of his simple yet meaningful analogy.
"And you're the night sky because you enhance my features. You bring out the good in me. Daylight doesn't let the stars shine during the day but the night sky does." He chuckled and stared at me. I stared back. I can see the whole galaxy in his eyes. It's so beautiful. I smiled at him and he smiled back. We looked back to the sky.

"Oh a shooting star! Let's wish." He said excitedly. He closed his eyes and wished. I closed my eyes too and I know exactly what I want.

'Please let it be like this always.' I opened my eyes and caught him staring at me.

"What did you wish for?" I asked him.
"For us to be inseparable... Just like how people associate the night sky with the stars and the moon." I chuckled and he followed too.
