What happened...?

Mai's POV

Naru and I walked into to the dinning room, hand in hand as a smile was plastered on my face. That was until I saw blond and red dashing towards me, full speed. I stepped back not prepared for the impact until Naru placed his arms around my waist. It didn't do us any good as they took down both of us. We grunted, but I didn't take much damage as I was lying on top of Naru.

"Get off of Mai and I." Naru growled. Bou-san and Ayako quickly scrambled off muttering sorry as they lent a hand helping me and Naru off the ground.

"No wonder there married, there so similar. There idiots!" Masako snorted as both the idiots turned there head towards her glaring. "You should of known better than to run up to Mai and tackle her, for goodness sake she could have been injured and did you forget. She's, p-r-e-g-n-a-n-t."

"Shut up you stuck up little brat! We were worried because Mai is a danger prone. She could have gotten hurt! We're worried about her since she's like our daughter - figure. Well at least we were worried unlike you." Ayako snapped back as she glared at the human porcelain doll.

"I care about Mai more than you think! She is always so kind to me, even if I wasn't nice to her. Even when we fought for Naru, she still helped me with him. Mai is like- no she is a sister to me!" Masako raised her voice.

My heart swelled as my vision started to blur. I was crying. Naru noticed as he asked me what's wrong, but I shook my head watching both of them fight. Truth be told it hurt me watching my two best friends fight.

"Everyone quiet!" Naru snapped as the room went dead silent, you can even hear a pin drop. Naru turned his body to face me, giving me the look.  I wiped my now tear stain face.

"Stupid hormones." I mumbled, rubbing my stomach. Both the girls gave me a knowing look, heading towards me, hugging me once they were in front of me. The fight was long forgotten as we started eating. Nothing really happened, but since it was the first night, we didn't really expect anything to.  

Time skip

I woke up with a grumble, annoyed that my back was hurting. Grabbing Naru's watch that was on the side table I read the time.

4:15 am

Daamm, why couldn't I wake up later,  like 11. But no my body tells me to wake up at the randomise time. Sighing, I tried to get out of bed but someone was trapping me down. *Cough, cough* Naru.

"No I need to pee!!" I whispered/whined. Trying my best to get out the caged of Naru's arms. After all the struggle I went through, I finally made it out. Doing my mini victory dance that included me shaking my butt a little, but hey no one needs to know. Tip toeing towards the bathroom that was built into our room, since someone doesn't want me wandering at night to go pee. Good idea Naru, good idea... After doing my business, and washing my hands. I started to head out the bathroom, but soon stopped as the air just dropped, suffocating me. It was like I was drowning.

"You really never deserved to have a baby. " A voiced hissed in my ear. I was gasping for air, clawing at my neck. Then I notice my necklace was off.

Ah hell no... Just my god dam luck, I thought. After what felt like centuries the air started to lighten. Gulping the air greedily, I started to cough. Not ready to take in all the air I inhaled.

"I'll play with you a little longer..."

The voice faded as she snickered. Leaving me with goosebumps. I rushed out of the bathroom heading back to bed, rubbing my arm.

"Mai?" Naru whispered as his hand stretched out on the bed looking for me. He patted the bed as he realized that I wasn't laying down. Sitting up slowly he looked around the room until it spotted on my shivering figure. "Mai, what's wrong?"
