New Case and Women's Cravings

Normal POV

"Neh Naru, could we get chicken? Ooh and Caesar sauce! With some plain chips, oh cinnamon buns, definitely cinnamon buns!" Mai asked as she gave Naru the pout. Looking from his case files, Naru just sighed as he nodded. Quickly giving her a peck on the lips before grabbing his jacket and walking out of his and Mai's room.

Walking down the hall Naru bumped into Bou-san as he was grumpily mumbling about women and there craving. Seeing Naru as they both heading towards the door he perked up before giving Naru a lazy wave.

"Hey Naru, Mai and her cravings?" Bou-san asked as he gave a tight smile, sighing Naru just nodded as they once again began there walk towards the front door. Finally arriving with some twist and turns they finally arrived only to see John almost walking out of the house.

"Oh hey mates." John smiled as he closed the door, waiting for other two too get there shoes on. "Cravings?" Bou-san stated as John gave a sheepish smile while nodding.

"Masako wanted me to get something covered in chocolate, well a lot of things actually drenched in  chocolate. Too many I almost forgot half of it."

"Really at least that's not as bad as Ayako. She somehow wants fish related food, like sushi and sushime...? I have no clue what ever it is,  shu-she-me is?? I don't even know how to pronounce it. Also apparently these octopus leg thingy." Bou-san shuttered as his face paled. "What about you Naru, what did Mai asked you to get her?" John asked as they walked towards the car.

"Chicken, Caesar sauce, cinnamon buns, plain chips, and a lot of fruits. She doesn't want to eat a whole bunch of junk food since she believes its unhealthy for the baby but the baby has a sweet tooth." Naru smiled that could only be notice if you squinted real hard.

"Man you lucky Naru. You got the women who doesn't have wild cravings that involves slimy food. I swear she's doing this to torture me for insulting on her weight gain." Bou-san let a frustrated sigh.

"Hello?" Naru answered as soon as he picked up his phone.

"Ah Naru, Martin told me to tell you that we have a new case and since were early in the stage, us girls are aloud to go. No buts Naru I'm going and that's final." Mai stated fast before Naru could reply. He just sighed again as he pinch the bridge of his nose.

"Mai..."

"Please Naru, I don't know how I will be alone with my powers at pregnancy stage and mother and father are going back to Japan since they can't be away to long from the newly made barrier. " Mai begged as Naru could imagine her close to tear.

Letting out another sigh he finally said "Fine you are able to go only if you PROMISE me to stay extra close to me or anyone  and always be cautions and have a magic barrier around if I am not around."

"Okay! Oh can you get some fruits?"

"I already am." Naru smiled as he knew Mai was smiling at how he knew her to well.

"I love you Naru."

Naru just hummed. " I love myself too."

"Narcissistic, workaholic, arrogant jerk!"

"I love you Mai." Naru hung up as he sighed, putting his phone back into his front pockets. (Seriously Girls always have their phones in there back pockets, why can't guys. Us girls have bigger butts so isn't it easier to break our phone instead? -_- *off topic, back to the story) Looked up to see there already parked in front of the store as Bou-san was giving a smugged off look while John was smiley lightly.

"Let's go." Naru glared at Bou-san as he left the car.

As soon as the front door was opened a quirky brunette pounced on the upcoming dark haired man. Almost making both fall over if it wasn't for Naru's quick reflex.

"Mai!" Naru scolded as he gently put down his pouting brunette. "Sorry Naru but I missed you so much, it shouldn't of taken you that long to buy the food." Mai questions suspiciously, sighing he gently placed a kiss on his wife reassuring her nothing suspicious was going on.

"Bou-san had troubles finding the right sushi Ayako wanted so we had to go to different stores to find it. Quite the trouble if you asked me, but if it was for you, I would search the ends of the earth for it if you crave it." Naru whispered as he gently nipped her ear. Blushing she smacked his arm before helping him carry the groceries into the kitchen with a hint of protest by the maids and the blue eyes man.

"Martin wanted you to go to his office once you came home but I'm guessing you want tea first." Mai smiled as she started boiling the water. Nodding Naru gently wrapped his arms around her waist using her shoulder as his head rest.

"You should go to bed soon, you look awfully tired for spending a day at home." Naru stated as he notice Mai's pale face.

"If only you were here, My mother and father wanted to spend time with me before they head back to Japan, but Luella insisted she came too, to spend time with her daughter-in law... This has been the most evenly day with those three. I feel like I have an eternity selections of pictures of me posing in front of statues." Mai stated as she sigh, finishing the tea she handed it towards Naru before kissing his lips and telling him she was off to bed, before having a nightly nibble or gobble of variety of snacks.

"I'll be up soon, I have to talked to my fathet before about the case." Mai nodded as she stiffled a yawn lazily waving goodnight to the SPR crew and Luella.

Doone!! When was the last time I updated? I dunno but I finished this chapter. I hope you like it, and I don't own Ghost Hunt or their characters. Only mine. ~Baby Boo Out
