I couldn't focus on a damn thing.  Neither could Ivey, and I swear every time my dad was in the same room as her,  I thought she was gonna attack him.  I can understand though, I was pretty angry too.  I had a plan, and I was so ready for it.

It's been 3 days since we found the letter in dads closet.  I have been stressing out over the whole thing to the point where skating isn't even helping.  Probably because he ruined it for me and now he might have been lying to me for 7 years. My mind is constantly racing and I seem to not be able to sit still. Even Kila started noticing my irregular behavior at school. I feel bad though, I still haven't told her everything we found out. I mean she is my best friend and we're supposed to tell each other everything, but I haven't brought myself to talk about it yet.

"There you go again," Kila squints at me at our lunch table.

I was currently bouncing my leg and staring off into space. The food in front of me looking very unappealing. I mean it is school cafeteria food.

Disgusting.

"Hmm," I mumble half hearing what she said.

She sighs and kicks my chair where I quickly snap to attention.

"What," I snap.

"Why do you look all sad again?"

This time it's my turn to sigh.

"Do you have cheer practice today?" I ask.

"Nope," she pops the p and tosses a baby carrot stick in her mouth.

"Come to my house after school and I'll explain everything."

She gives me a concerned look and nods slightly. That's when the first bell rings signaling the end of lunch.

"See ya soon," I say and grab my stuff to go to 5th period.

I'm currently standing by my car waiting for Kila when my phone starts ringing. It's Ivey.

"What's going on?"

"Isabelle! Finally. Dads home early. He wants to talk to us. Hurry up and get home." My sister replies sounding a bit frantic.

"Okay, but Kila is coming with me."

"Yeah yeah whatever just hurry!"

I hung up. What the hell is going on? He never gets off early, like EVER. I swear this family is giving me a migraine.

"I swear if I spot you one more time with that sad look on your face, I'll cut you with your own skates." Kila is walking towards me and giving me the stank eye.

"I'm sorry, but you'll see why when I tell you. Oh, and by the way Ivey just called me. My dads home early and wants to talk to me."

She groans and rolls her eyes. "You think he found out about you sneaking off to skating?"

"God I hope not," I get in the drivers seat and pull out if the student lot.

"So, what is it you want to tell me," Kila asks impatiently when we make it off school grounds.

I take a deep breath. It still doesn't seem real to me. I have a hard time believing it still and find myself doubting everything. I hate that. I mean I know if he lied about that then he could've lied about a lot of things. Yet, I want to understand why. No, I NEED to understand why.
